This is Matt Smith's last year as the Doctor...and while I'll miss him, I'm happy to announce that the new Doctor will be Benedict Cumberpatch; some of you may know him from Sherlock.

Matt will be moving to Los Angeles after his stint on the show, and of course, we wish him all the best.

But get ready for the new Doctor!! I think this is a brilliant choice.
