When does season 8 begin?  I tried watching Tom Baker's version but they had like 3 episodes focused on the same thing. He was funny but yeah too slow for my liking |

OMG it was so good!! Until this episode I was not a very big Clara fan. I really enjoyed her in this episode and CAPALDI ZOMG. He lived up to my expectations. AND THAT END. It was so nice to see Eleven get a proper goodbye with Clara, unlike in the finale when he just regenerated... boom. And I love the Lizard lady whose name I never remember. I hope Moffat continues on this path because I REALLY hated all of season 7. ![]() |

I think he's a part of UNIT...I'd bet on it. Anyway, they already did an episode about being shrunk and chased by anti-bodies ("Let's Kill Hitler")  The Robin Hood episode next week looks lame.  |

Aeryn I am so lost on who... what.. whattt? Who was the Danny clone ? Okay...that was Danny's great great grandfather, not a clone. That was the future. The Doctor had Clara hook up to the Tardis' psychic abilities, and it travelled according to what it found in her mind. (she had Danny on her mind after that terrible date) But first they'd gone to the past, where they found Danny as a child in an orphanage. You remember how the Doctor wanted to find out why people had nightmares about a hand grabbing their foot from under the bed? Near the end, Clara flew the Tardis away from the place they found Danny's relative (since the Doctor was knocked out) and heard a child crying in a barn....she went in to look, but when she heard people coming she hid under the kid's bed. A woman told the child they'd leave the door unlocked at the house if he wanted to come in later. As the woman (and man) left the barn, the man said if the child kept acting like that, he'd never be a Time Lord. Under the bed, Clara realized the crying child was the Doctor...the boy got out of the bed, and she grabbed his ankle....telling him he was dreaming. She also told him that it was okay to be afraid, that fear would always be with him, but it would make him a superhero...she kept telling him to "listen". Now we know why the Doctor had that dream. Lots of timey-wimey stuff in this episode. My fingers hurt from typing all this, so you'd better be grateful, you cow. |

@smallvillian0 I gotta tell you...when the Doctor was talking about "unseen things" I thought I heard something move in the other room.  I was like, "Oh HELL no!!" This episode was almost as creepy as "Midnight." I'm really starting to like Clara. Used to HATE her (because I missed Amy) but now she's become rather interesting. |
