SoCal's post has my imagination running wild. What does Crowley expect to see on the Angel Tablet? Why is Naomi so desperate to get her hands on the Tablet? As usual, I think you're right. They will drag it out. That way they will have time to expand the angel tablet story line. I cannot imagine what that tablet says. Do you think God would let the prophet write down how to destroy Heaven? Oooooooooooooooooo, Anti, you bring up a wonderful point. It makes me wonder, too, what, exactly is on that so-called angel tablet. Maybe it isn't instructions on how to destroy Heaven, but a method to destroy the rebellious angels in Heaven. What do you think? I mean, Naomi seems pretty un-angelic, doesn't she? Although I find it a little odd that God would allow such antics to go on in Heaven. I have a million questions!! |

Great idea, Anti, starting an "Angel tablet" thread. What's on it? Does it really exist? Why didn't it come up during the Apocolypse battle? Why can only prophets read the tablets? What's Naomi's angle? Does she know something about what's on the tablet? She seems awfully afraid of it falling into the wrong hands not to have an inkling of what's on it? If Crowley gets hold of it, will he be able to use it? Wouldn't God prevent demons and the denizens of Hell from using something like that against Heaven? Okay.....I'm going to stop there for now.  |

If the tablet contains information on the line of succession in the event the Arch Angels fall in battle, that would jeopardize her authority. It might have info on how to resurrect angels or cast them into Purgatory. When angels die, sometimes we see angel wings and sometimes we don't. The tablet might explain that. What if it has a formula to accomplish what Castiel and Crowley did without the side effects? Does it really exist? Why didn't it come up during the Apocolypse battle? I think it really exists. The Leviathan were older than dirt and somehow knew of the existence of the tablets. Dick Roman excavated for it because he knew the danger. I wondered if it was designed to unearth itself if Mankind was in imminent danger from the Leviathans. If not, Dick should have left it buried. The Apocolypse was preordained to happen. Everyone knew Michael would defeat Lucifer and restore balance in the world so the tablet was not needed. I have no idea.  Wouldn't God prevent demons and the denizens of Hell from using something like that against Heaven? I hope so. Crowley is an optimistic manipulator. Maybe he hopes to use it as a negotiation tool because I doubt he could actually use it. I hope God does a better job of protecting Heaven against demons than he did against the Leviathans. |

Maybe God has prepared a "macguffin" for the demons. Maybe translating the tablet will cause hell's breakdown.
