I still don't have my copy...  And the county library I go to now is apparently very strict with their holds policy. If I have to put a book on hold, I can only have it for 7 days with no renewals... If I don't get a copy soon, I just may back out of this reading... which would suck because I really wanted to read this with you guys. |

Perhaps you can get it on your kindle i will search for a free version of the stand on my kindle i know you can get a sample for free if you go to the books area on your kindle then hit store and in the search area type the stand out should be the first item to pop up on the list if you tap it you can get a sample and the sample goes up to chapter 6 so its pretty extensive for a sample the sample also includes the preface and the authors note , this sample is from the complete and uncut edition

I do have the free version, I only thought to get that after I posted, and it does go up to chapter 6, so that's good.

There's one issue I'm unsure if what ive found is the uncut edition of the stand. The chapters its showing appear the same as what's in my uncut edition but I found that the opening chapter the circle opens is missing from the version ive found for you

Ok Chloe upon further research I find myself unsure of that website so instead I have found another option for you since you have a library card you can go to your local library website and click on your library at home its about the middle of the page once you click that it shows a few options for ebook loaning you want to cjlhoose the first option overdrive ebooks if you click that and then hit the search (magnifying glass) then put in Stephen kings the stand it will be the first book to appear and you can borrow it for a max of 21 days I however do not have a library card so I am unable to try borrowing it myself let me know if there are any issues

I didn't know we were supposed to start yet. What chapters are we supposed to read? Just chapter 1? Plus, I think Moon was going to join as well, we haven't heard back from him about the time, I don't think.

What does your copy look like moon My version looks like this: ![]() It's a paperback version, the newest, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it, as to save money they made the type smaller. I've got a hold on for a hardback version to replace this one, but this is the one I will start with. |

Mine too! I love the feel of it the only sad part for me is that no matter how hard I try not to crease the spine somehow it always ends up looking read! I like to have multiple copies of books I like to have three copies to be exact one for reading one for loaning and one for looking lol that means to just have one that stays on the shelf always looking new is that strange

I understand completely. Of the really important comics I always bought two copies: one for a reading copy and another for my collection. I was not so generous as you to loan them out. |
