I was relaxing in a chair
Then thought to style my hair
It was washed and conditioned
It was dried and lotioned
Yet it still gives me a scare

The wind blows outside my home
I listen to the noises near me
I write quietly these words that come
I know that I think I will let them be
Words come pretty easy for me
I sometimes am reminded of those
Who will come after me
And will say that I chose
the words to be
what they are
so here they are

Change in Plans
It was after 11, nearly noon
While I was working on a plan
I heard a ringtone bought on iTunes
And knew it was my little man
On my lips appeared a smile
And my heart did a little jerk
Then I huffed for a long while
He had forgotten his homework
I dashed to his home
Uploaded the draft
Downloaded the tome
And all he did was laugh!

A Pleasant Day
A tale of ice and fire
A wife's dangerous act of treason
Was sowed by her brother's desire
For a very diabolical reason
Washing dishes and vacuuming floors
Made me weary to the bone
I took a long break from those chores
And watched Game of Thrones

A new day, a new plan
I have had to do some soul searching
I have thought it over and realized I am needing
to improve myself so I can make myself even better
I am writing this as a letter
To show that I am hoping to do better
And become less bitter
I know that I am still growing
so I need to be showing
That I am becoming kinder to all I know
and those I do not not know
If I have been wrong to you
let me just say I didn't mean to.
May this be the beginning a new day
Where what I say
and what I say shows I have a plan
to make myself even better than
when I was when I first started out
so let me stop the pout
and move on out
and show that I am not a lout!
love you always my dear friends
may we be forever until the end
take care of yourself
as I put my thoughts on a shelf
to do the hard part of changing me
so I can show how better I can be!
