It's coming to The CW this summer. It was one of my favorite shows when it was on ABC.
Drew Carey won't likely be on it, but he's busy hosting "The Price Is Right".

That show was very funny which makes me wonder how they can top it now. I plan to watch. When you know the date, let me know and we can put it on the forum calendar

The English version is MUCH funnier... and the host gives much funnier point explanations.... you all get 7 points because I expected more....

Wayne Brady did a pretty good job.
I wonder if they are showing actual clips from upcoming episodes.

Why did ABC canned this show for?

Yeah that's what I want to know. It's not like they would have ever run out of material.
I think I saw Colin Mochrie in something over the weekend.

It starts tomorrow night. Thanks for the reminder. I just set it to record - in case I forget to tune in. While on vacation in Las Vegas, I went to a dinner theater that did improv and they involved the audience. They sent a guy to a room where he could not hear what was being said. They then asked the audience to suggest a bunch of words the guy would need to say during a conversation when he returned to the stage. I had no idea what improv was and, as luck would have it, they singled me out to give them a word. I was like "huh?" but I was game. The host engaged the guy in conversation in such a way that the "contestant" actually said everyone of the words. When he would say one of the words, we would yell, stamp our feet and applaud. He was very startled when we did that. It was so much fun I would do it again.

El Jeffè Are you planning to watch this show? I laughed so hard at the episodes last night that my throat hurt. The first guest celebrity was the young lady who plays Maggie on The Walking Dead. She was so sweet and she was embarrassed by something she did. It was comical. The second guest celebrity was the guy in the wheelchair on Glee. He and Wayne Brady stole the show with one of their improvs. Amazing and entertaining. I am going to watch those again.

Kevin McHale really was good when they let him talk.
That sideways game is something they got from another show that some of the cast members were on.
The girl from the series with vampires or whatever was really cute. They couldn't get past the fact she kicked Wayne. These improv routines can be dangerous.
I'm glad Laura Hall let her hair grow.
This show is still as fun as it was. I hope Greg Proops and Brad Sherwood make appearances. I was really disappointed that the new host kept saying "The points don't matter" and gave out points. I was hoping we were past that. I saw Drew earlier this week when I was eating lunch.
Edit: Earlier today I was looking at the TV listings and it's on tonight if you missed it.

"and the points don't matter" - What is the backstory on that? Did the points ever matter in the original series?

I thought it was this site, but my Internet just went out. I saw only two lights on the modem. Then I saw the third light blinking and now it's on. I don't know what's going on because I don't hear thunder, but that's a normal situation when I do.
I assumed that was Drew's idea. I couldn't stand him. I tolerate him on "The Price Is Right". I only see it in two places where I eat lunch. I don't go either place that often.

I don't like the reading of the credits because it's always the same few people. I did hear one new name. But then they get off subject.

I had some signal trouble during a storm last night, which reminded me. For some reason during the first part of the first episode last Tuesday, the video and audio kept freezing and I may have missed some details. After the first commercial break, the problem had been fixed. Now I have no way of knowing whose problem it was.
The type of interference, unlike last night's, was the type I have with an antenna. Supposedly the cable company gets the signal the same way I would except they have better receiving equipment. But the problem was over after the first commercial.
Now last night, I was having buzzing and stuff, like I used to have with analog TV.

That part is probably funny, but I have trouble following it because they talk over each other. I still enjoy the show, but the female guest stars seem a little embarrassed by some of the stunts.

Over the weekend I watched the Young Hollywood Awards, hosted by Aisha. I can't stand her. I tolerate her on this show, but she was just plain annoying there.
I should have fast-forwarded through a lot more of it. I never heard of most of those people.

The August 6 episode was very funny. Guest star Wilson Bethel from Hart of Dixie was fun to watch. They kept singing "take your shirt off Wilson" and he kept blushing.
My favorite skits were the musical ones.
Wilson also participated in the skit where one person becomes the arms of someone else and that was hilarious.

I can't get away from Wade! Can't they keep him on his idiotic show so people don't have to be subjected to him?
There were of course two episodes but my TiVo deleted it. I thought I was doing a good enough job keeping up. They'd better repeat that one.
It also neglected to record "Glee", but I'm fairly sure I saw that one based on the episode summary. I remember getting the message when I tried to add the season pass that it wouldn't record because two shows were being recorded at the same time. I had been adding to "Big Bang Theory" just in case so it wouldn't cut off the end, but if I record the show that follows that then that will no longer be a problem.
I HAD a season pass for "Glee" but only as long as it was on what is now my CW affiliate. My former CW affiliate is now my Fox affiliate.

I enjoyed this week’s episode.
The improv when the women’s purses were used to help the “doctors” was very funny. I liked it when one of them said “In case this doesn’t work…” and held up a book with “JESUS” printed on the front.
One of them looked in a purse and with a knowing look said “I’m ready for a date later…” and the ladies were blushing.
The other favorite purse funny was them using the ear buds as stethoscopes.

Yeah, the purse routine was great. I can't recall whether the one who had something that would make her blush also had the item which said "Jesus". That would be inconsistent.
Lisa Leslie is beautful. And quite tall--though Ryan is just as tall as she is. So Wayne must be really short. You'd think I would have noticed Wayne was so much shorter than Ryan.

I was surprised that Lisa made Wayne look short. When you said you had not noticed the difference between Ryan's and Wayne's height either, it made me curious. I checked their bios and their height is listed as: Ryan - 6'6" Wayne- 6'

Tonight's episode was hilarious. I have become a big fan of the “What’s in the bag?” improvs. They stuck an emery board in Wayne Brady’s mouth and he was worried about what that was. They are so funny. Inappropriate things to say at a funeral: Is he going to keep that suit? Are those all of the hors d’oeuvres? Well…he had that coming! I was having dinner while watching the taco-making improv. My stomach got queasy watching that. I know Keegan because he is a successful commedian with his own show.

I didn't know Keegan.
Ryan was on "Two and a Half Men" and he did something really naughty.
Ashton Kutcher's character did something that could have permanently damaged his manhood and he needed a doctor to fix it. Alan volunteered and Ashton yelled, "A REAL doctor!" It's not just that chiropractic isn't respected (though he gets that too) but he went to a school in Mexico or somewhere and can't afford to live on his own.
Ryan stuck his hand down Ashton's pants. The maid walked in. Previously she had caught Alan and Ashton, doing yoga, looking like they were about to ... you know. Alan seems gay but is not.
Ryan, by the way, is a pediatrician. This sin't exactly something he encounters every day.

There were some great laughs on this week's episode.
Inappropriate things to say on a first date “Is your mother/father seeing anyone?” “Do you mind if my friends come along?”
The jealous husband improv with Laila Ali was very funny.
Props improv - my favorite was the "8 ball, side pocket"
The singing skits, as usual, were so great. I look forward to those skits each episode.
"Les Miserable" is my favorite Broadway musical so that song skit was a special treat for me.
