I don't think Ryan succeeded in doing it 30 seconds, but it was fun to watch. Given his limited time, I'm surprised he did the men in the rowboat, who I have never seen mentioned anywhere.

I'm going to wait. I don't want to go for months without seeing one. Actually, that will happen anyway. But at this point I'm making the choice and there will be one more to watch.

Gary Anthony Williams was the bartender on "The Neighborhood". I keep forgetting how much weight he lost. Aisha was in a "CBS Cares" as a cast member of "Criminal Minds".

The TV listings in my local paper say Aisha directed the "Criminal Minds" episode for next week.

On "Modern Family", Manny's girlfriend wants to audition to be an improv comic. Jay doesn't think much of that. And she is going to live with them until she can support herself. Jay seems to think that won't happen, since Wayne Brady only comes along once in a lifetime.

On "Fresh Off the Boat", Louis and Jessica were at a couples retreat and one of the activities was similar to what Ryan and Colin do that usually involves food with Ryan unable to use his hands. The difference is the person behind is blindfolded and the person in front is supposed to explain what to do. The goal is to get it right, not to make a mess.

I got a haircut this morning and they showed a clip of Monty Hall from 1963 and, while I wasn't paying that much attention, they seemed to be recalling the early episodes. At least some of the people in the audience were there for that first episode. The first contestant was also a contestant in that first episode and they showed a clip. Wayne had a money machine, or whatever it was called, like Monty would have had. Jonathan Mangum had opened the piggy bank and filled the box. Wayne pulled out the first bill and told the woman she could stop anytime. She kept going until she had $1600. I'm not sure which one had the scissors but if the woman went too far she'd lose everything. She gave up and found out she could have had $4600. But then she was told she could choose the imported item behind curtain number one. No, she said. It was a car. Behind curtain number two, six wheels. Okay, she would take that deal. It was a car and a scooter. The barber was actually paying enough attention he could tell what was going on and at one point asked if I would have taken the deal. I wasn't going to gamble, so I would have done what she did. I was actually gambling by going to the barber. I won, because one of the men was leaving as I arrived and the other one was just there to hang out.

Greg Proops was the art teacher, based on a real person he interviewed at the end, on "Schooled". I kept thinking I knew that voice and even thought he looked familiar, but I didn't know his name until the end.

In an SNL sketch where these two poor women couldn't figure out computers, there was a botched Powerpoint presentation which was a mess but the man in charge of the meeting was at least impressed with the photo of Wayne Brady in the corner. The problem was they had worked to get rid of it and it wouldn't go away.

I went to the barber this morning. "Let's Make a Deal" had everyone dressed for prom. The woman won her prize and the man won teeny tiny furniture. Eve from "The Talk" was the model.

SEASON 6, EPISODE 17 • NEW 10/1/18, 9:00 PM ON WNUVDT 54 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC
Guest comic Greg Proops; singer Lance Bass. Finally saw it, now that's there's only a short wait for the next new one. It's understandable he ran a space camp on "Single Parents", because they told us he was interested in space. Some of Colin's antics could get him in real trouble if it was a woman. Actually, I'm not sure which episode. I saw parts of several. I have to wonder what happens if someone in the audience doesn't want to be part of the show. Aisha sure is involved more.

And we're back with new episodes!
I missed the end but it'll be repeated. There's actually no reason now not to extend the time.
And a week later I can't remember a thing that happened.
Wait, Ryan couldn't use his hands, but once he had no choice.

There were problems with my signal Monday night. Fortunately, "Penn & Teller" was repeated. I had to go back and look at the episode as it originally aired to find the part that was missing because somehow I remembered the time of the problem incorrectly.
Ryan got through two presidents. And the singer who I didn't know didn't get to finish her duet. Whenever it is repeated, and we know it will be, I'll see the rest.
I thought holding up a dog was a reference to Romney, who was never elected.
That one gag they couldn't let go of I can't even mention here.

I watched an episode this week. My favorite skit was the suggestions from a hat. I did not enjoy the one where audience members have to move the comedians body parts. That just seems too complicated to me.

I got worried when Ryan was supposed to mistreat the audience, but it didn't turn out to be as bad as expected. That was a rerun.
The camera people have to be ready for ANYTHING.
I know why I remembered the time of the problem wrong. On the recording there are commercials.
Aisha says "snippets" of the songs but it's always the entire song.
Which episode was it where Aisha had to leave and one of the men was playing with her sound effects?
Aisha's hair has never been prettier.

Hard to believe they did one so clean it got a TV-PG rating.
Elizabeth Gillies is a good singer.

Hard to believe they did one so clean it got a TV-PG rating. Elizabeth Gillies is a good singer. Maybe that is why I enjoyed it so much. I liked the Weird Newscasters, Scenes from a Hat, and Living Scenery. I was surprised "lactation" was chosen for the duet with Wayne and Chip, but it was very funny. Elizabeth's participation was excellent. Also, in the skit where someone was speaking for her, Elizabeth did the best job of mimicking the words that I have seen on the show.

I don't see how it's possible to know a person was that good matching what someone is saying. I'm trying to pay attention to what is said.

They played the sideways game and one other that hasn't been played in a long time.
I'd rather see Brad as a weird newscaster than asking questions.
Aisha liked having someone else who was tall and then Wayne said he was 6 feet tall. I can't remember whether that was this week.

I thought the texts on one phone were funny, but the others didn't seem all that funny, except for being so out of place. Wayne went out to the woman who sent those texts later to show his appreciation because she cared so much about Black History Month. And that girl was so pretty and had such a nice smile.
And they're back to dirty content.
I can't remember anything else they did. I think I remember Wayne and the guest I had never heard of having to be props.

They didn't call it "Let's Make a Date" one week, but now they're back to doing that.
All I remember is they had the "Whose Line" game and Wayne singing. And "Scenes from a Hat".
Ed Greene is still in the credits.
Thomas Lennon (Goetz in "Lethal Weapon") was mad at the judge or judges on "Match Game" for not accepting his answer, and he went up into the audience. He just sat down and when he went back to his seat he hugged the person sitting next to him. I have no idea while there was an empty seat. Anyway, going up in the audience reminded me of this show.

I'm trying to remember which episode had the weird newscaster or potential date who was obsessed with breasts. There's a line they can't cross with Aisha.
The guy from "Bull" could sing. I don't know if he's also known as a singer.
I've never seen Ryan and Colin such a mess after Helping Hands. Or the guest star, who I guess had to go clean up somehow. I've always felt sorry for the people who clean up that stage.

I am watching the August 5 episode and the guest comedian is auctioning off his clothes. I was really surprised when he pulled his pants off to auction them. That was funny.

No new episode but I watched one I wasn't sure about. I'm almost sure I saw one where Jonathan got hurt twice. Anyway, nothing else seemed familiar and I kept watching. Aisha's jacket matched the hat.
