I liked it when the guest comic told Wayne he couldn't give an Oscar speech because he couldn't win an Oscar.
This is a stretch: Aisha's co-star Thomas Gibson was fired for an altercation with a top crew member.

This is a stretch: Aisha's co-star Thomas Gibson was fired for an altercation with a top crew member. The Oscar speech comment is very funny. Thomas Gibson kicked the man on the shin. I could not tell he had been fired by the way the season ended. The focus was on Shemar Moore.

Tamera Mowry's episode is repeated this week. I record them all because they cut off the closing credits on the episodes that are not the last one of the evening. But I recall that Tamera is one of the best guests they ever had.

Tamera Mowry's episode was very good. I have never watched anything she is in, but I really enjoyed her performances. She's best known for "Sister, Sister", which is really the only thing I saw her in. It's about twin sisters who were raised separately and discovered each other when shopping. They ended up moving in together. Tia's mom {the wacky neighbor on "227") was selfish, spoiled and vain and I don't know why she would have ever adopted. It was suggested early in the series that Tia's mom was married. Tamera's dad (Venus Flytrap on "WKRP") was widowed and uptight and a successful businessman. Ironically, Tamera was the fun-loving sister who wasn't too bright, and Tia was nerdy and uptight. And they finally revealed in the final season (by that time it had moved from ABC to The WB and was the first show I saw on that network since I didn't have an affiliate with a good signal yet) that the girls' father was an archaeologist who couldn't be contacted when their mother went into labor or when she died. He was white and she was black, so they didn't take the step of getting married because that was so controversial back then, but he never stopped looking for them. The problem was he was looking for a pair of girls. He found them because he was also a painter and the girls realized the subject of a painting they were seeing in an exhibit was their mother. I don't know that this means anything, but they kept referring to how pretty Katie Cassidy was. I think she was prettier on "The Flash" and "Arrow". Maybe it was the glasses.

I agree that Katie is very pretty. The CW recycles her through several of their series.

I read too much. I ran out of time because I had not seen the episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" where The Allstate Man paired with Holt. Why is that funny? Peralta said, "There's two of them!"

It's not enough I had to watch Jane the Virgin get upset so many times over her man being shot just because I finally decided to slow down the "Penn & Teller" credits and sometimes back up to see what I missed. There he was on this show!

This is quite a stretch. The Charlotte Observer's TV section listed Thomas Gibson as one of the stars of "Criminal Minds", along with Aisha. Just how far in advance do they print it?
Did everyone who watches this and "Sleepy Hollow" see Lyndie Greenwood? I forgot to announce that her episode would be repeated.

I thought everything was going to be all right. I was at the college library where the woman at the circulation desk and some others had a long complicated discussion of what was happening in Charlotte. I heard that even though the national news channels were providing constant coverage, the local TV stations were showing their regular shows and updating during commercial breaks.
One station didn't do this. After "Penn & Teller", the CW station went to an extended newscast. They repeat this show a lot, though.

I don't know when they'll get around to repeating the episode I missed.
This is quite a stretch, but Aisha is in the show. The Charlotte Observer's TV section says Thomas Gibson stars in "Criminal Minds". Actually, I did see an episode summary that suggests he'll at least be in the first episode.

I saw the Cheryl Hines episode. My eye was watering or burning and I froze it. It was while Ryan had Colin doing everything for him while he and Cheryl were eating. It would have made a perfect still.

I missed one episode and I hope it was one I had seen. I thought I checked all of them when I was seeing what would record. And of course the ones that did got cut off at the end, which is the part I needed to see.

But I checked every episode of every TV series airing on Thanksgiving and the next night, and I saw this show would be on. I missed taping one that aired in September, but when I looked at the date of this one after it didn't look familiar, I saw it was on the night of the Charlotte protests.

Why is this show still on the air for?

I know I saw Tamera's episode but it didn't look familiar. I watched just enough so I would know I had seen it if it came on again. But I always record reruns because the end gets cut off if another episode follows.
Wayne is doing commercials for BI-LO.

The only thing I remember is that Ryan was doing the weather and he was a hillbilly going after all the cameras.

"Iris" episode was very funny. She participated in only the props skit, but I was still happy to see her. I was hoping they would dedicate a song to her, but the musical number was a hoe down without her.

I was hoping for more from Iris. I forgot to post here like I said I would. Yes, normally there is more participation by the guest celebrity. She "read the credits" with the others (if they even did that) but other than that she was just props, such as Ryan in a submarine using her as a periscope and putting his face as close to her breasts as possible.

There was another CW actor whose name I didn't recognize. He was quite good performing with the two black cast members. Yes, someone commented the show has never had so many black people.
I was reading something about vampires, which The CW is known for, along with werewolves and now zombies. I think this man deals with or is a zombie.

I thought you watch that show. I do not watch it because I could not get past the brain snacks. I just watched the episode with Emily Bett Rickards. She is the a lead character on Arrow and is extremely popular with the fans. She was a good sport during the dueling duet and the props skits.

I read somewhere this show was canned and they are just airing repeats to fill in the time-slots with nothing being on during the summer.
