Which Crowley is better

Please vote for your favorite Crowley. Here's what happened after I finished my first Crowley, my hubby asks me why I didn't use my flame fabric since Crowley is the king of hell. That would have been great advice two hours ago when I started the block. So I thought I would do a second Crowley so see the two background fabrics together. So which Crowley do you like better. I will add the gems to the second Crowley's crown.

Hubby gave you a good suggestion even though it was two hours late. I like the flames in the background. Although the red in the first one reminds me of when Dean was in Hell.

I like the first one. I like his face more, because he looks at little more annoyed and snobby in the first one. Like he is rolling his eyes at how stupid something is. While in the second one he looks more bored or unimpressed. But both work really well for Crowley.

huh the vote is one for flames one for no flames. I need another vote. Hi Lemongrover I tried to make 2nd Crowley exact the same. But it's not possible. I can see the difference between them. I think the biggest difference in the eyebrows or the fact they are mirror images makes them look different. Also I use a Batik fabric for his hair, Batik are hand dyed so the colors vary. I like the streak it created in flame Crowley's hair.

Hello! I understand about not being able to make art exactly alike. Sometimes it can be very annoying, but I like that they are different. I didn't pay attention to the streak in Flame Crowley's hair. I like it too, but I'm still partial to Red Crowley, so I'm no help. You still need a tie breaker!! Good luck, these look amazing so far! I can't wait to see the finish product!

Hi Evil 1 , I think I like the first one, the red background makes the black outfit Crowley is wearing stand out more, and he looks more annoyed in the first one. ;D

I really like #2. I love the much stronger and sharper contrast with the lights/darks and color. Clean and crisp lines. The repeated darks tie background to Crowley, and the red of the tie connects to the red in the flames.
