As many of you know, this amazing group of people on The Evicted first started on The WB Forum. Just today I came across this wonderful article titled "Why we (still) love THE WB, the network that runs fandom."It's a great article, which traces the beginnings of the shows we love so much, and the fandoms we have evolved, including this promo for the pilot to Supernatural: to this amazing slash fiction video from Smallville: As a bonus, watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer kill Edward from Twilight.

I was successful in getting the following message added to the article: The Evicted Thank you so much for this article, reminding in particular our group of fans, who first formed relationships with one another on the original WB board, of our heritage. Some of us have known each other as long as a decade. We had a perilous journey, losing many members when The WB became The CW. Then the CW announced in December 2011 that they were shutting down the message boards, giving us only a few days to try to preserve those relationships. Against all odds we succeeded, and have 200 members from the original WB and CW forums here: displacedcwloungefan.proboards.com/index.cgi We invite any of the missing, and those who remember the glory days of The WB to join us here. We've been looking for you.

Awww. Now this just makes me miss all the shows i watched on the WB and how much better their promos were. Does anyone remember this? I totally do. And i think this vid sums up for most fans what was so great about the WB. I think that vid is a combination of their "Saying Goodbye to WB" commercials that aired the last week or so on the WB.
