Thanks, MisterMoonlight, that was exhilarating! Where are the last 52 minutes?

Okay, I have to be SURE and REMEMBER. I can watch "2 Broke Girls" but NOT "Mike and Molly" unless I watch the clock very closely. Or I can watch "Rules of Engagement" in the normal 30 minutes (not possible with the Girls) and follow that with "Mike and Molly" as long as I make sure I watch the clock.

The Stand NEW S01, E11 Mon 3/25/13, 10:01pm-11:00pm NBC Miles leads the rebels out of Philadelphia I don't blame him. If Frank, Dennis, Dee, Mac and Charlie are still there that's reason enough to leave. Dr. Megan Hunt probably has a great deal of work to do.

I'm just disappointed that NBC didn't run at least the last 3-4 episodes to bring us up to speed.
Hasn't it been since the beginning of December that we haven't had a new episode?

I was hoping they would have a marathon. The Walking Dead is running a marathon and Game of Thrones put together a recap of the past season. If Revolution issued one, I did not see it.

I am so irritated at Revolution. They promised us Danny would be a fighter, not a martyr. And I am not feeling the “my poor baby” drama at all because I am too disappointed. Other than that it was a great episode. I like that it began where they left off and the crew had to run for their lives. Desperate move putting them in caskets, but I am sure they would have killed the guards if necessary. I knew that Charlie’s Militia insignia would come in handy as they continue their quest. Miles has truly turned Bass against him; Bass wants him dead so badly he doesn’t care who does it. Nate had been leading up to parting ways with his father and I am glad he finally did it. If the rebels learn to trust him, he can be very useful. Tom Neville’s loyalty to Monroe is just a little bit scary, but maybe it is derived from Monroe giving Neville the status he craved. I think Neville would kill his son before letting Monroe learn that he lied. Miles and Rachel sitting in a tree, k- i-s- s-i- n-g! C’mon, there was obviously something intimate going on between them. Why did Aaron think Rachel was a housewife? I thought they worked together because he seemed to know her. Randall and Monroe working together should prove to be bloody and deadly. I am looking forward to more action and more heroics from our dauntless rebels. I will probably forgive Revolution by next week.

I was wondering if I had the date wrong, I could not find it on my DVR...
Edit: Apparently, the DVR had it set to start at 10:00pm (which it should be, it has successfully recorded before) but when I went to take a second look, it starts at 10:01, therefore, the DVR did not record yesterday's episode. That doesn't even make sense to me!
Therefore, I did not record the episode and it doesn't seem to be on the internet yet.

My DVR recorded it and I did nothing special.

I enjoyed the episode. Lots of action and angst. I am sorry, Anti, that Danny's unexpected death disappointed you, but he was such a soft character, I didn't forsee him becoming a "Miles, Jr." At least he went out heroically. What did his mom cut out of his abdomen??So Justin's dad considers him dead. Funny how he doesn't see how much his son is like him....willing to do almost anything for a girl/woman. Didn't Tom let Miles go because of his wife? About those helicopters and guns. They've been out of action for 15 years. Where did the pilots get the training to fly so well. Even the best pilot would be a little rusty after being grounded for 15 years. How about aviation fuel. Would it still be good 15 years later? I still find that somethings DO NOT seem 15 years old. No grey hair, no dental problems, etc. And for people constantly getting hurt, no one ever seems to get an infection. Yes, I know I am picking. But it's Kripke. He should be keeping a close eye on this. Looking forward to the remaining show with great anticipation!

We are able to openly chat about anything that happened during the episode in this thread.
The flashback to Rachel commenting to her husband that Danny was not a test subject gave me the impression something was inserted into Danny's body to save his life. The extraction was done while Rachel had access to the power from the pendant and I think that is why it glowed.
During the first episode, a big deal was made of Danny suffering from asthma. SoCal and I have raised the question several times regarding how Danny was avoiding asthma attacks during his confinement and escape attempts. I think it will now remain a mystery.

She summed up my feelings when she said something like "I walked over a thousand miles to rescue you..." But I'll tell you what I did like about Danny's heroic scene. When he blasted the helicopter, he looked around with the most beautiful and triumphant smile. There is no question he was a hero. But they cheated me out of seeing Danny and Justin . (Thanks for the reminder we should call call Tom's son Justin. I still think of him as Nate. That's a good point about Justin and Tom being similar and they are both stubborn. Kripke has been spoiled by Supernatural fans who let him get away with outrageous oversights because we love him. He is taking full advantage of it, and it amuses me because some of the stuff you mentioned are surreal.

Someone remind me why I was looking forward to more episodes.
That Annapolis base could easily have been the abandoned shopping center in Myrtle Beach but I never heard they did any more filming there. I know an earlier episode used the abandoned amusement park--which includes the back section of the abandoned shopping center. The front section, according to a newspaper article, seems to be doing better and people are moving in.

Kyle, if I remember correctly, you were anticipating a brilliant explanation of why the lights went out and how people were able to adapt to life without power in the beginning. They have promised to tell us in the next episode. I will let you know. Maybe the "why" is not important to some people, but it is important to me.
