So the boys are investigating a bunch of kid hunters. Wow! This may bring back some not so fond memories of their own childhood.
Will Dean and Sam support the young hunters or is there something nasty afoot?

There is something nasty afoot, but first I must give a shout out to Sam for telling his big brother "eat me". When Sam asked Dean if he was alright, I wondered what he meant because Castiel had healed the wounds he inflicted on Dean. Dean's response to discussing any hurt feelings by getting some herbal tea was great. I enjoyed that scene.
I was happy to see Krissy and her scenes with Dean were great. His description that they were "dangerous and off their meds" was funny. Dean's parting shot to Aidan that if he hurt her, Krissy would be the one to kill him was probably correct. She and her friends might become great hunters, but it is hard to tell since they were in a controlled environment. I am sure Dean will be checking in on Krissy from time to time.
Victor was beyond sick and there is no correlation between Victor's relationship with a vampire and Dean's friendship with Benny. Victor's actions make him worse than any of the monsters and it would be wonderful if he could wind up in Purgatory.
I'm not sure what Dean meant by Krissy and her friends could lead a normal life once they close the gates of Hell. I thought that would get rid of demons, but not the other monsters.
Edit: I almost forgot - Victor needed to die after the mean comments he made about Bobby and the other hunters.
He probably will wind up in Purgatory since he committed suicide, right?

I gace it a "4" since it was a neat, tight episode and I enjoyed the return of Krissy. Her interactions with Dean are priceless. I don't remember Victor from a rugaru hunt in Washington (just as the monster teacher from "Something Wicked). I didn't get his relationship with the vampire. Was it a vampire that killed his family? Why would he resort to this method to train a new generation of hunters. Like the return of some of the Dean and Sam banter. Herbal tea anybody? Dean seems to have undergone quite the transformation in his dealing with monsters. There was a time where he thought ALL monsters had to be killed not saved, innocent or not. Thought Sam's parting thoughts that the kids weren't the only ones who might live normal lives after the Hell-gate was closed was sweet and slightly sad. I agree with you, Anti, not all monsters will be magically locked up after that. There will still be vampires, werewolves, wedigos and rugarus to hunt. Looks like next week Dean is going to ask Benny to rescue Sam from Purgatory. Is that what it looked like to you?

Normally I give all episodes 3 viewings to make a decision, but I didn't think I could do it with this one. It was just OK for me.
I liked the Sam and Dean banter in the car in the beginning for the episode and I liked it when Dean took the gun away from that kid Aidan the rest of it was just OK for me. I got annoyed with the smart mouth teenager crap pretty quick. and even though we are seeing signs of more mature Sam and Dean and we see flashes of smart Sam and Dean, why do the guys have to be dumbed down from time to time? I also have a hard time buying that Victor was able to knock out Sam considering Sam is huge, and how did they drag him back in the house?
I didn't like Victor, I was glad to see him go, but I was OK with Krissy at least at the end she lost the smart mouth attitude and I liked her better then. I thought J2 both looked very good in this one and is it just me or does Jensen get better looking all the time?
I do have to admit, that the first time I watched it, it depressed me, I didn't feel quite that bad after watching it again. Maybe over the weekend I can try and watch it again and see if I feel different.

A Wendigo killed Victor's family and his relationship with the vampire makes no sense to anyone.
Dean is going to ask for Benny's help. I hope Benny is willing after Dean kicked him to the curb.
Sam is still hoping for the apple pie life but he will have to wait awhile.

Maybe over the weekend I can try and watch it again and see if I feel different. It seems to me that SPN dumbs down Sam and Dean frequently and it is unnecessary. It did not make sense that Sam would turn his back on Victor when he did not trust him. Hunter's instinct should have made him wary. I really enjoyed the Sam and Dean banter also. Every time Dean says "Good talk!", he makes me laugh. Dean and Krissy get along because he knows fighting with her will just push her away. I like her but her decision to remain with her friends sounds less brilliant than I gave her credit for being. Garth will be checking in on them and Kevin. I said the same thing about Jensen while watching the episode - he is a beautiful person. Also, I think Jared looks handsome with the less prominent sideburns. I notice his pretty face more when I am not distracted by the sideburns. No disrespect intended to SammySideburns.I gace it a "4" since it was a neat, tight episode and I enjoyed the return of Krissy. Her interactions with Dean are priceless. Was he trying to convince us that the Leviathan threat was so great that the vampire partnered with him to create better hunters? That is unbelievable! I still remember the episode when Dean learned that not all monsters are evil and how that shocked him. He seems to have adjusted very well to that fact and I forgive him for all the monsters they killed without determining their culpability.
