Both Diggle and Arrow had to deal with unfinished business haunting them after they thought the issues had been dealt with.
Tommy did an amazing job of helping to keep Oliver's hideout secret from the police but Tommy still has not forgiven Oliver and continues to think of him as a murderer. Tommy's decision to quit the club and work with his father will complicate things once the truth starts to come out about both Tommy's and Oliver's parents.
Arrow has gotten over his self-doubt and is once again magnificent with the bow. I guess we should consider his sending 3 arrows into the villain as self-defense. I like Diggle standing there and not interfering while Arrow debated whether or not to kill The Count. Diggle will need to make the same type of decision when he catches up with his adversary.
