Kripke seems to be recycling Supernatural titles for his new show.

It is very interesting how Abrams/Kripke can put a spin on a situation to make a person appear more sympathetic. Neville's reason for declaring his son dead is rational; however, he would have appeared more sympathetic if he had responded to his wife that Miles would send men to kill Justin if he knew he went AWOL. Oh no they didn't

Mondays are becoming my favorite night of the week for watching (or at least taping) good shows.
Revolution and The Following are two of the best shows on TV. It's a shame The Follwing is winding down, but I think it's been renewed, right?

Revolution and The Following are two shows that I want to watch as soon as I can. Sometimes, like last night, I watch half of Revolution and then watch the balance of it the next day while I am alert. The Following has definitely been renewed.
What are they talking about? “Computers” are floating around out there; each one is the size of a virus; they’re in the air, on buildings; we’re breathing them in right now? Holy crap! They are programmable with two commands – absorb electricity and replicate. So…they kept absorbing electricity and replicating until BAM! They sucked up all the electricity. Holy Kripke!!! I was surprised to see Tom jammin’ to the music. “Lionel Ritchie is better than okay.” He had a genuine look of pleasure. Charlie finally got a little taste of revenge against Tom. Tom is trying to provoke Miles to anger, and he is going to keep getting beat up. I think Tom can take a beating so they needed to come up with another plan. Miles: I will bash your little boy band face in. Jason: What’s a boy band? I knew Charlie had a strong will so I was not surprised when Charlie stood her ground to keep Rachel from killing Neville. Jason (finally getting his name right) is earning his stripes against that unloving and manipulative father of his. When Jason asked Neville why he treated him the way he did, I wondered if Neville was going to say he was not Jason’s father. I cannot imagine a father treating his son the way Neville does. Well, looks like Neville will have a much longer confession list before he is done. Miscellaneous observations: Rebels make poor jailors. Jason’s mom should have been considered collateral damage. I guess it’s time for Aaron to have a hero’s death. They need to stop killing off the black people. Padre - R.I.P. I no longer care about understanding the reason Miles took Rachel to the Republic’s facility. That was a hot embrace between Miles and Rachel. I wish Nora had seen it.

Anti, you were thinking the same thing I was. Teeny, tiny computers (in the quadrillions) floating around because of a mishap at "the Tower?" What happens when they're breathed in by the people? Do they change or do the people they inhabit change? How the hell did Tom get back to his wife so fast? And seemingly without being seen? Why would his wife coldly tell all the women in the house to leave? Wouldn't she worry about one of them reporting a beaten and bruised Tom to some authority? Packing? ? Are you kidding me??? Tom is taking time to pack a suitcase?? That seemed silly. You'd think he'd find whatever weapons he had hidden (my thought) in his home and book out of there with the wife. How did Tom get that nail? He's a good liar. Those eyes just drip with expression. Why does Bas put so much trust in Randall so soon after meeting him? I suppose it's because he has power. And why is Randall kow-towing to Bas? You'd think the guy with the power would be in charge. Do the bad guys really have nukes now? Now that's a game changer. I hope Aaron and Rachel are able to make it to the Tower and don't end up on the business end of some swordpoint. What was with Rachel and Miles? Obviously they had a thing but did Rachel not love her husband? Next week looks exciting.

I wondered about that too because I thought Charlie and Jason were on their way to the house to rescue the wife/mother. Tom must have an invisibility cloak that lets him elude a camp full of rebels. Julia was foolhardy to be so arrogant with those women, but at the time, she did not know Neville had failed his mission. The look on his face would have given me a clue though. I think Julia Neville and Adrea (TWD) have one thing in common - they do not want to give up pleasant living and camp in the woods. I think neither one of them trusts anybody because they are so full of hate. It's likely Bass and Randall are only working together until they obtain the power flash drives. Bass is willing to let Randall show him where they are, but at first, he insisted on sending his own man on the important assignment. I have various thoughts on why Randall would call Bass "sir". As a member of the DOD, he respected the hierachy of command and Bass is the Commander in Chief (self-appointed, of course). Randall might need military backing to enter some of the areas he will approach. Worst case scenario, Randall might truly believe that he and Bass should take over the world. *** It certainly seems like Rachel and Miles were having a relationship while her family was waiting for her to return. It has never been clear to me what Rachel's husband knew about her trip "to get supplies". Was he totally in the dark or did he think they were doing the right thing? We might never know. They have not returned to the story line where Miles "saw a body" and thought Rachel was dead. Rachel held up pretty well considering she thought Miles knowingly left her there with his blood thirsty friend.

As I've said before, for people who have lived 15 years without any kind of technology or power, they all look remarkably well. I can't figure out how Aaron has managed to stay, well, shall we say, a little rotund? I know after a week of camping I have looked far worse!

Quoting another thread: I thought I posted here but the episode was a big disappointment. We were promised the story of how the power was turned off and ended up with the absolute minimum. At least there is some potential for new theories on how the power will come back. Explanation for why the power went out was given in the latest episode "The Song Remains The Same". I would never have guessed or even imagined the explanation. Once again, they gave us the absolute minimum. And once again for me, the episode was a big disappointment. The explanation for how the power went out reminds me of a nightmare on "Now and Again". The Allstate Insurance Man, also known as the U.S. president on "24", was a scientist who created a kind of Superman. In his dream, "nanobots" gave the man his super powers but also started eating all of the printed word. Nothing was left but words stored on computers. I do like the way Tom was so enthusiastic about Lionel Richie. Although I personally like his slower stuff better. My radio station plays it all, except "Running with the Night" and most of his newer stuff. Some of his country duets they do play. And, of course, "Brick House" wouldn't be on my station, but I don't even know if he does anything on that song.
