Genre: Drama, Paranormal Premise: Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland) is a widower whose young son, Jake, is living with autism and doesn't speak. At the end of his rope over his inability to communicate with his child, Martin discovers that Jake is indeed communicating -- but with numbers instead of words. Martin must decipher the meaning in order to connect the numbers to a group of seemingly unrelated people who affect one another in ways that are both seen and unseen. Martin gets help from a discredited, aging professor who offers an unorthodox theory about Jake and his rare ability.

I enjoy this show very much and do not see a thread for it. I never want to miss an episode because each development in the story opens my mind to wonder.
The only issue I had with the first few episodes was that the kid would suddenly take off on his own and people would frantically search for him. After I understood why he did that, I was able to sit back, fasten my safety harness, and watch Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) go into action.
Clockwork 3/29/12
I enjoyed this episode which took place directly after Lucy was killed. I enjoy Avram’s encounters with Jake and the way he talks to him. It’s nice to have a level-headed person around whom we can trust.
Martin’s friend, Trevor, is still willing to work with him after the devastating murder of his employees. A great friend to have and his assignment led Martin to a man Jake needed him to find. Although this episode was not a roller coaster ride like some of the others, it was interesting to watch. I really like Jake now and appreciate his brilliance. Now that Jake and Amelia can be together, it will be interesting to see if they can elude the killer monk and take down Astor Corp.
According to Avram, the 36 are righteous folks. How can the monk be righteous when he is killing people who have done no wrong?
Two of a Kind 4/5/13
I like Jake and Amelia working together and must remember that they have different gifts. Each time Avram or anyone says “algorithm”, I think of “Numbers”. I miss that show.
Guillermo was a lost soul and he apparently was holding a grudge against Martin. I like the way Jake can get inside Guillermo’s head. Most children’s first words are either mama or papa. Jake’s were “Find him.” Poor kid.
Once again Avram pretended to not know the answer to Martin’s question. Avram looked deceptive when Martin asked if he knew what “the nest of seven” meant. I still trust Avram though. I hope Dr. Nell Plimpton will be willing to help our guys once they catch up with “the nest of seven” since she will be one of them.
Oh my goodness, Aster Corp’s Nicole Farrington has seduced the other genius, Calvin Norburg, to work with them. Although the people are coming to them willingly because of their targeted marketing practices, it still stinks.
~ Our world is made of patterns, eternal truths that repeat and repeat over and over across the millennia for it is only by standing on the shoulders of the past that we can truly gaze into the future. –Jake Bohm
Touch returns in 3 weeks for the final 3 weeks, with the finale airing on May 10.
