I wasn't a fan of his work on "Mork and Mindy" but I was even less of a fan of his work in the movie based on the series. The actor playing him was atrocious.
I liked him on "Hee Haw", but not a lot.
Other than that, I do remember seeing him a lot and sort of liking him.

Jonathan Winters was simply a genius. It's easy to see that there never would have been a Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, or John Belushi without him. He lit the way for that off-the-top-of your-head improvisational comedy. He showed them all what was possible.

Some things, like Jonathan Winters, are timeless.

I'm not as old as them, but I know who Johnathan Winters is. I have fond memories of watching Mork and Mindy as a kid.
