I knew Vincent would get angry when Catherine invited Gabe to the celebration. No cell phone is safe when Vincent gets angry. Catherine seems suspicious that her father knows more about her mother's life than he has revealed. I am not sure if he knows anything about Muirfield's project, but Cat was pretty harsh. The moving of the grave still seems mysterious to me, but it gave Gabe an opportunity to bond with Catherine and to pump her for information. The scene at the farmhouse was exciting and perplexing because Gabe is not a wimp and does not really need Catherine to protect him. *** Will finish this later.

Ah...thank you for the prompt.
Gabe told Catherine Muirfield used him for tissue samples and blood, but that is only part of the story. He has been altered in some way. I wonder what the impact is when a child is altered compared to what they did to adult soldiers.
There were some rewarding moments mixed in with the angst and drama.
I must applaud the strength of the women as they make sacrifices to help their men.
Since I am not sure if Gabe is a villain, it is nice to know he has a lady friend who has also been hurt by Muirfield and is willing to help.
Joe amused me by his handling of his relationship with aggressive and independent Tess. First, he made a major blunder in suggesting she move to another precinct. Then, he made it right by transferring the officer who was disrespectful to Tess. Good move. I do applaud Joe for trying to find a way to make their relationship public.
Thank the powers that be that Vincent and Catherine handled their differences without one of them "ending the relationship". When Vincent asked Cat if she would take the opportunity to not know where he lived, he could not look at her as he waited for her response. Poor baby was frightened.
I enjoyed seeing the mature manner in which all of the relationship issues were handled in this episode.

*laughs* You are welcome for the prompt...but it was entirely selfish of me as I waited to read the rest.
QUOTE: "Gabe told Catherine Muirfield used him for tissue samples and blood, but that is only part of the story. He has been altered in some way. I wonder what the impact is when a child is altered compared to what they did to adult soldiers."
As mentioned in the previous thread on the previous episode...which...as I JUST posted it...you have not yet read...
I think it was earlier in the process...thus substandard and Gabe is dying and wants to dissect Vincent to find a cure.
Gabe is a bad guy.
Now...
...I know that is a controversial statement to make when someone on this forum MAY have...
...conflicting....
..."admiration"...
..."appreciation"...
..."lust"...
...for BOTH Vincent and Gabe...
...and the idea that Gabe is a bad guy may be...
...unaccepectable?
...rejected?
...violently opposed?
But I think it makes sense.
...Vincent thinks so too.
And the last scene with Gabe supports this.
And Cat...
Cat went from...
..."I DON'T WANT TO GO" (to the celebration of her Mom) I WANT TO SPEND THE EVENING WITH YOU"
...to...
"I WANT TO GO TO THE CELEBRATION OF MY MOM AND TAKE GABE" (...and NOT be with Vincent)
Then the police partner prompted realization: "OH! Perhaps that WOULD upset Vincent."
*rolls eyes*
NOT very mature.
It would seem that Cat has conflicting...
...admiration...
...appreciation...
...lust...
...for BOTH Vincent and Gabe...
...which is somewhat...
...ASTOUNDING...
in its nature...
...but as ASTOUNDING as it may be for one on this forum to be... ...attracted to both Vincent and Gabe...
...it is NOT acceptable for Cat...
...as she has declared herself committed to and is actually dating Vincent.

Laughing as I write this. Poor memory is the culprit rather than admiration or lust. I remembered Gabe killing a man and thought he was a villain. When I realized Gabe had been held captive by Muirfield, I thought maybe he was just a victim who was seeking help from Vincent. I really needed a refresher on evil Gabe, so thank you for that. Catherine should avoid any comment or indication that she admires Gabe in any manner or Vincent might harm more than cell phones. Her enthusiasm over talking with someone who knew her mother caused a lapse in good judgment, but I do not think she is at all conflicted by feelings for Gabe. I agree it would be absolutely unacceptable.

Happy you are laughing! I was striving to present the "refresher" on evil Gabe to you in a somewhat entertaining manner as you put so much into this site in an definitely entertaining manner.
Ah! I see what you are saying concerning Cat's lapse in judgement.
Vincent's judgement and motivation is always easy to figure out, as it always come down to trying to keep Cat safe...
It puzzles me why this has often been looked upon as a bad thing.
I missed the show tonight so I am going to have to play catch-up!
