I saw a movie yesterday which was sort of a musical, with all the songs written by one or more of The Beatles, mostly Lennon and McCartney. The characters were college age, including a lad from Liverpool who came to America looking for his father. Another character had to register for the draft, knowing he might get sent to Vietnam. Another character's boyfriend did get sent and his mother got the bad news you don't want to hear.
Most of the movie was spent with the kids who protested against the war and had fun which wasn't entirely real.
Oh, and to me, the music was mostly terrible.
Found it! It was called "Across the Universe".

The music is beautiful. No lyrics necessary.

The Beatles are just noise to me.
I wish my radio station didn't play them, but so far they've avoided the loud stuff. Except on the morning show which is local, and then it's not the really loud stuff.

On another site I go to people are commenting about how horrified listeners of "beautiful music" were when they found out the song was by The Beatles.
One DJ was not allowed to use slang, someone said on that site, so he had to say "She loves you yes, yes, yes."
