Looks like it could be good, but did I see that it's going to be on Tuesday nights? Why am I certain it will be opposite "Supernatural? I know which show I will be watching but I hope this new one doesn't pull the teens away from our Wichester boys. Damn it.

I think we are safe. S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently scheduled for 8 PM, but they could change it when they see the CW and other network line-ups.
Joss has a huge following so I hope they do not put it on opposite Supernatural.

Does this show come on now or in the Fall? From ABC: "Don't miss Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D this fall on ABC!"

Thanks to Darwin, we have this update: TV Blog/MSN.ca Does Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. live up to the hype? Short answer: Yes. Longer answer: HELLS YES. Under the watchful eye of Marvel security, we were granted a viewing of the Joss Whedon-directed pilot before the man himself - along with fellow EPs Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeffrey Bell, Jeph Loeb and the cast - took to the stage to answer all our questions. Alright well, some of our questions. At least the ones that didn't demand any kind of spoilers. (Seriously, this show's under major lockdown that they won't even tell us where it films aside from saying "undisclosed locations" and a military base.) So what CAN I tell you about it, you wonder? Hrmmm, without being TOO spoiler-y, here goes nothing: 1) There's a hitch to Coulson's return from the dead. The (very simple) explanation for his return is dealt with early on in the pilot but a conversation between Maria Hill and a S.H.I.E.L.D. doctor alludes to something even Coulson's not aware of. "We’re never going to mention it again," deadpanned Whedon before adding, "I’m sorry. But we will be dealing with the issue, obviously. That will be part of the thread throughout the story." Later, Whedon did admit that the real explanation will be drawn out over several episodes. 2) The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are an international Wedon "Scooby gang," if you will. "This is a team of misfits that are coming together," said Brit Elizabeth Henstridge, who plays Jemma Simmons. "they will become each other’s family, and I think that journey from being strangers to family is going to be something that’s going to be really interesting to watch." Added Clark Gregg: "As someone who has been working for S.H.I.E.L.D. for some time now, there is a misperception or a shallow perception of S.H.I.E.L.D. as being some kind of American organization. But one of the things that’s always excited me about S.H.I.E.L.D., both in the comics and in the cinematic universe and now the television universe, is that it’s kind of a transnational organization that’s kind of protecting humanity and bringing different parts of humanity together, especially in the wake of The Avengers.” 3) You haven't seen the last of J. August Richards. The Angel alum won't be part of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team but did have a significant role in the pilot. "I can neither confirm nor deny whether he’s coming back, but I thought he was great, too. So do that math," Whedon hinted. 4) Clark Gregg is really really appreciative that he went from Coulson having a couple of lines in one movie to his own TV show. "It’s a it’s really a great thrill. I’m just I feel very, very fortunate. And to kind of have him expanded now in this format and to have him interact with this amazing young cast of actors is really a great thing." 5) The show will not be a "superhero of the week" format. But there will be a challenge that the S.H.I.E.L.D. teams faces weekly. "We are going to try to hit all sorts of different things, and hopefully, the characters will be dealing with each other enough so that there will be stuff to interweave through these stand-alone episodes," said Whedon. "There are so many aspects to what’s happened since everybody in the world found out that there is a superhero team and there were aliens that invaded New York, and we want to be able to change it up every week. We want to be able to deal with every aspect, the spy stuff, the hero stuff, the heartfelt stuff." 6) Don't expect a Whedon certified song-and-dance episode. "I’m ruling out a musical. I’m ruling it out," Whedon said - much to the chagrin of Clark Gregg who joked, "We worked on three songs already." Brett Dalton added, "I worked on my dance moves for nothing?" (However, Whedon's brother and co-EP, Jed merely told us "It's going to be a lot harder to get there." So maybe nothing's impossible.) blogs.tv.msn.ca/2013/08/tca-summe....o-the-hype.html

This could be fun. I will certainly give it a watch and see if I like it. At least it's on a channel I can watch!

A new thread is needed for the new season.
The web site that has the articles I see in newspaper TV sections at the library hasn't updated lately but there was one about this show coming back. If I can ever remember to find it, I will. I think if the same person writes another article that I see, I can find it that way. I know it was a new person whose name I never saw before.

A special about Stan Lee was on the other night on ABC. Naturally, this show was one of those mentioned.

There was an article which I haven't read online yet. I just didn't have time over the weekend.
But from the looks of it, I'm going to start watching this.
