A thousand apologies for forgetting to create the thread.
True love – Catherine and Vincent finally were able to have a normal date complete with cotton candy. That did seem sweet and normal.
Pills continued working on Vincent’s zoo side (and yes I did get Kafka reference *smile*). Hope rises.
Gabe’s lady friend fully supports going to any length to cure him. I thought she was one of the experiments, but she did not exhibit signs of the beast.
JT was smart to not trust Gabe and he probably enjoyed his act of vandalism.
When she learned Vincent could be normal, Catherine instantly made the leap to moving to a small town – with good schools. Whoa…slow down.
It’s never good news when a parent says I need to talk to you right now!

I see your prediction about Sendhil Ramamurthy came true!
VERY perceptive!
So...the idyllic small town romance...shades of Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland?...were...tasted? by Cat and Vincnet and found to be to their liking...
So much so that after JT discovered Vincent could be cured and Vincnet told Cat...Cat was then right on top of making the fake ID's to make a life in a small town in Colorado.
VERY sweet.
THEN...not so much.
As Cat's father called her to meet him...and then he got run down...but survived...
And then Cat dithced him and her sister because she wanted to DO something...understandable...
BUT...
...so was hurtful to Vincent. Was dismissive of him in a please get out of here because YOU are no longer helpful kind-of way.
Then JT...
HERO JT...
...Snoops on Gabe and Gabe's girl and discovers the plot to kill Vincent and then destroys the equipment.
It was a *cringe* convenient plot point that Gabe's girl could call him with the news...AFTER JT called Vincent...and AFTER JT depstroyed the equipment and AFTER JT was long gone and AFTER Gabe's girlfriend studied the securoty footage and saw it was JT that did it...
...and AFTER SO MUCH TIME HAD PASSED...
Neither Vincent or JT was able to tell Cat what was going on?
Giving Gabe the time and making Cat unaware so she could be captured?
Again *cringe*
Then the Cat's father is not really her father news...
And then Vincent and JT kidnapping Gabe's girl to trade for Cat...
And then Vincent refusing to return to animal/human hybrid form...choosing the future he knew Cat wanted...
...and the girl turning the tables on JT...
And then Tess finding JT and mocking him for letting the girl dazzle him with her four syllable words and get the drop on him.
But what was on that tablet...besides Cat's real father's picture I wonder?
Then the battle at the mansion...
And...
...more weirdness...
Gabe can dodge bullets but somehow a beasted out Vincent cannot dodge a fence-post spike so Gabe needs to be shot to save Vincent?
Please!
And the Cat's reall father shows up and seems to want a word with Vincent about his intentions towards his daughter.
HEArTWRENCHING moment when Cat reached up to grab Vincent's hand as he was being hoisted away....
WAs there stuff after that? Because my veriosn kind of went wonky after that...degraded...

Is Catherine's father Muirfield? I was not sure but that would explain why none of his men ever harmed her. I agree “There’s not much you can do" was insensitive. Aww…Catherine needs to be very careful of her phrasing when Vincent is feeling vulnerable.

As mentioned...things went wonky while I was watching...
I saw just when Cat reached up and grabbed Vincent's hand...and he looked at her with such great love and concern...and her heart was breaking...you could tell...
...and then things went wonky.
So I did a quick youtube search and found a clip where the helicoter was rising away from Cat and a sniper on the helicopter aimed at Cat and the boss guy (the one who killed Gabe's girl and his picture wa son the tablet) said..."Don't kill her! She's my daughter!"
Was that on this episode?
Was there anything else that I missed after Cat grabbed Vincent's hand?

Nothing more happened after the heart-wrenching hand grip.
When the IT tech told Tess she owed him dinner for “fixing” the tablet, he must want Joe to transfer him to a precinct a thousand miles away.
Gabe’s justification for his actions did not pull at my heart strings.

Poor Vincent was forced to be helpless.
Cat walked into the building, round-house kick to the guard and knocked him out.
Way to save the day.

So the clip I saw with the guy saying "don't kill her...she's my daughter" will probably be where they pick it up in the fall.
*laughing. Alot* Exactly. Tess could clear anybody out of that precinct she wanted to.
Me neither.
Frustrating for him on SO many levels.
Very direct and straight forward yet done with style and steely eyed determination. VERY impressive.

Yes, that was on this episode and of course, that was significant. That was a wonderful moment. They did not ruin it with a hysterical Cat screaming and crying. She will stay strong and find a way to help her love.

I know it’s selfish but I am glad Vincent will retain his zoo side. When did we stop calling him an animal?

Yes! Obviously screaming and crying on the inside...but she chose strength...not always easy to do.
*laughs* When Evan thought Vincent was an animal. And then my comment was...Vincent should not have to make the Elelphant Man speech...because it is obvious how human he is.

I did get the Kafka reference. When I first read "Metamorphosis", I thought I was reading a science fiction story. Then I had to re-read it. *laughs at self*

No need to laugh at self...it SCREAMS science fiction.
This is one I saw...no real point to?
Scandalous I know.

I am happy to admit I was not as impressed by that story as others seemed to be.
Wait... does Catherine know that her father is not her biological father? Her sister knows (major HIPA violation) but Cat has been too busy or kidnapped to get information.

You are right! (about the book)
AND...
YOU are right!
Cat does not know!
