I guess you could call them before going all the way there.
I borrowed the book from the library so I had to read it quickly.
If you buy it, you can read it at your own pace.

The title of the episode sounds as if Big Jim will try to take control of the town by claiming exigent circumstances.
My other thought is that The 4 will do something drastic because of exigent circumstances.

I didn't know until last week that Big Jim sold cars. I hope Julia will be all right. Is there just that one nurse or are they too cheap to hire other actors? I hope Julia is all right too. I think there is only the one nurse. Angie was helping out as a candy striper, but she is busy elsewhere now. Angie doesn't count. They don't actually know how to do anything. One of my cousins, who is my age, mentioned she was a candy striper at the nursing home where I spent three weeks. She was a teenager at the time, so that place is really old. I know they added to it, but it still looks good in the old section. Wow, I feel sorry for that nurse if that's true. I still think they're too cheap to hire the person who works while she's asleep. |

I leave this show because I want answers...and they give none. I learned my lesson from Lost. Hi Timmy ![]() I watched Lost and I never understood what the ending meant. But all is not lost...with Under the Dome. King promised us an ending. In fact, King promised fans will like the ending better than the ending that is in the book. I watched only a handful of "Lost" episodes but that did include the end and I really felt cheated. |

There's a concrete factory near where I live but it's nowhere near as big as the one on the show. Actually, the last time I walked past it, it was out of business. I think they made concrete block as opposed to concrete for roads. We may have that kind of concrete factory in the area, though.

I guess the nurse had gone home. In the book, there were more medical personnel than in the TV series. |

Usually that is true. Supernatural fans are used to people dying and coming back. One of our favorite characters died ...became a ghost for several episodes ...his bones were burned so he could go to heaven ...later, they had to rescue him from hell and sent him to heaven ...we recently learned he is back for the fall season.  |

Now that THE GLADES and LONGMIRE are finished for the summer, and THE GLADES now cancelled *small tear*...I opted to watch the earlier version of UNDER THE DOME... ...and... ...got an old episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY...(a very funny rerun though)... ...BUT... ...I am used to the CBS network delays on SUNDAYS...as I tune in to watch THE MENTALIST and I get the same kind of announcement flashed across the screen... ...THAT GOOD SHOW YOU CAME HERE TO WATCH? WE'RE MAKING YOU WAIT!!!! ...Probably because SOME people could not play football faster... |

Darwin, I owe you 2 cents. I think Barbie won the fight with Junior. *laughing*
This episode was the most exciting one for me yet.
Big Jim has NO conscience. He must be a sociopath.
Big Jim was smart enough to restrain Barbie with more than handcuffs.
Junior is not stupid and realizes he cannot really trust daddy dearest. Junior is the one Big Jim should be afraid of.
Angie is a very clever girl.
I loved Barbie's response at the end.
I hope the delay did not prevent anyone from seeing the ending.

The blackness that began to cover the dome was scary.
