Thanks for that, AA. It makes me wish it were September already. Good for NBC for giving it a September start date. Maybe it will give the show a leg up on all the other shows being delayed until October. And of course, I'm hoping they don't make the same mistake in season 2 that they did with season 1....... a 4-month hiatus.

SoCal, you are welcome.
When I saw the September date, I went to the NBC website to doublecheck it. I did not want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed.
I guess our guys will continue to be rebels in the new season, but I cannot tell what role Monroe will play. Really looking forward to it.

I saw this wonderful bit of casting news over at Spoiler.TV: Jim Beaver guest-starring: The actor will guest-star as John Franklin Fry, “a hard-ass, whip smart Texas Ranger who allies with Miles,” describes Kripke. Beaver’s installment, titled “One Riot, One Ranger,” marks new consulting producer and ex-Supernatural scribe Ben Edlund’s first writing credit on the show (alongside co-EP David Rambo). The episode will air in mid-October. Hope this means he won't die right away!

Jim Beaver. Hooray! I hope it is a recurring role too. That would be nice.
He played an excellent role on "Justified" last season, and I hope he has that type of role on Revolution.

The nukes are off! And although Comic-Con attendees might already know the fate of those missiles, EW has an exclusive first look at what else season 2 holds for Revolution.
The first episode back will pick up right where we left off, with everyone trying to correct their mistakes. But that won’t last long before we jump forward in time — by three months, to be exact. So what’s different about this season? Well, other than introducing a small town in Texas (another walled city) and adding a “more fantastical edge,” it seems to be the same Revolution we know and love. Oh, but don’t forget about nervous breakdowns, murdering missions, refugee camps, and a potential “bigger force” at play. So it’s Revolution, but just with a “different little kick to it.”

When I got home from work today I discovered the SyFy channel was running a "Revolution" marathon of every first season episode. Naturally, I haven't seen them all, but I've been watching. Gosh, this show is good. And it returns next Wednesday night! Woo-hoo!

Gosh, this show is good. And it returns next Wednesday night! Woo-hoo! I have been watching it too. I finally understand what Nora did when Miles refused to leave Charlie when she was trapped. Nora ran in a direction that would lead the Monroe troops away from Miles and Charlie. During the season I kept wondering why in the heck did she take off like that.

The countdown begins for me. I am celebrating with Angus T-Bone steak, caramalized onions and salad, followed by ice cream and Oreo cookies.

I just noticed that "Revolution" is going to be on at 8 pm! It will be nice to be able to watch it and not have to record it. I'm sad that it's on opposite (The Middle." I really like that show. Maybe I will record that, instead.

I think this was an intriguing episode because it raised more questions than it answered. I missed the first two minutes. What is the significance of the shed that Miles burned? How did he hurt his hand? Does anyone else think Gene told Miles he was out of anesthetic because he thinks Miles deserves some pain? I am glad to see Aaron has a lady friend. I wonder if he saw some of the nanomites(sp) when he was outside with the fireflies. I guess the electricity stayed on for only a couple of minutes. What was Aaron talking to Rachel about- the fireflies, the cicadas, starling flocks… “the insane things that have happened” to them…? Jason smacked his daddy AND compared him to “a little bitch”. But Tom Neville showed he is a tough guy by giving himself a dry shave with a straight razor. I noticed Monroe tried to remove the brand from his arm. Ouch! He is a tough, crazy guy. And both Miles (Stu) and Bass (Jimmy) are using different names. But really, a lot of people will recognize them. Aaron put up a good fight but he was at a disadvantage because he had to worry about the lady. Don’t kill him! Titus Andover talks like a gentleman…”Can we get you some sweet tea?” But he could not lead that large gang of killers unless he is as vicious as they are. I enjoyed this one and I am looking forward to next week.

AA, I didn't see any answers to your first two questions. I want to know the significance of the burning building and a bloody Miles myself. The 6 month jump was a bit jarring. It seems so much has happened. Rachel went a little nuts. Sebastian "lost his job" and now participates in boxing matches in a "New Vegas." Charlie has gone ......well, "Nora" like. Sad she doesn't want to stay with her mother anymore. Nice to see Aaron in what could have been a long term relationship......and a neater beard. And Tom has Jason with him as he searches for his wife. Wonder if she'll ever turn up. So the power only came back on for a few minutes. And Aaron is seeing weird things with bugs. Who are the people from "the Plains nation?" Why are they attacking other towns and carrying off the women? I suppose, from what I saw after Miles and the sheriff were taken, they are populated soley with men. Who is Titus Andover? He's pretty dorky looking for a guy who seems to have control over that pack of very mean looking men. And how did Aaron come back to life? Did Rachel look like she was sitting there waiting for something like that to happen? What was the significance of the fireflies before he "woke up?" Who kidnapped Sebastion just as Charlie shot a very well placed arrow at him? Who are these so-called "patriots" who tell the crowd that the president has been holed up in Cuba for what, over 15 years when the power first went out? What's the significance of the group of uniformed men who were putting cages and chains in what turned out to be the ruined shell of the White House? Looks like we're in for a real roller-coaster ride this season!

SoCal, there are definitely more questions than answers in the first episode.
I am glad you cleared up the burned shed mystery for me. I wondered how I could have missed that much in two minutes.
Now I must really wonder how Aaron came back to life but I am glad he did. I was going to be irritated if they killed him off after he had gone through a heroic transformation.

I forgot this thread because I forget the show has its own board.
It's terrible they destroyed Atlanta and Philadelphia. Such civilized places.
I was disappointed the power didn't stay on but I guess the show loses its premise otherwise.
I'm definitely not Carrie Wells. Someone mentioned Charlie and I was thinking about the brother who died. Rachel was the pretty girl I liked.
No, wait, Charlie is the girl! Then what is her brother's name?
I'm still looking forward to more.

I was going to mention the brother in my post but could not remember his name. His name is Danny. Charlie is the girl, but Rachel is a beautiful woman too. I have grown to admire her very much. I am bringing the list of characters forward to help with the names. Billy Burke as Miles Matheson • Tracy Spiridakos as Charlie Matheson • Daniella Alonso as Nora • Giancarlo Esposito as Capt. Tom Neville • Tim Guinee as Ben Matheson • Maria Howell as Grace • David Lyons as Bass/General Monroe • Elizabeth Mitchell as Rachel Matheson • Zak Orth as Aaron • J.D. Pardo as Jason aka Nate • Anna Lise Phillips as Maggie • Graham Rogers as Danny
