Hmmm, about an 8.5, parts of the story seemed unimportant to me.

I've been reading my old college textbooks. I plan to go to the library again and try to find something else to read. Maybe I'll try to find The Time Traveler's Wife, I've always wanted to read that book.

I read The Time Traveler's Wife a while ago. It is a unique story, and I remember the main plot, but I cannot remember all of the details.
I recently read The Gunslinger, Book I of The Dark Tower Series. I wanted to read it before I see the movie.

I've been reading different books each day, very challenging and each is at least 50 pages.

Before I started on "Archie and Amelie," I read "Murder in the Adirondacks," a story about a young man and a girl he got pregnant and murdered in a small resort area of the Adirondacks. It happened in 1908-09 and it was this actual event that inspired the film :"A Place in the Sun." Although an earlier film made in the 1930's was more factual, of course a movie with Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift was going to to get long lasting fame.
Fascinating book.

"Untold Story" by Monica Ali, it was a novel that told of Princess Diana living under a false name Lydia in the States after her car accident in 1997. I absolutely hated it! It didn't seem realistic and it didn't read easy, it shifted mid-novel what was happening with the narration and it made it confusing plus the ending wasn't too clear either.
