It does take skill to pull it off. Whether you're portraying someone with Asperger's or someone with whatever Sherlock's problem is, it does. I saw a commercial where Watson was quite appealing. In the sense of she hates him but you know she likes him. Watson's time with Sherlock is almost up. If they wanted to replace her, they have a chance. But except for SoCal, I haven't heard that anyone does want her gone. I don't really.

Another new one. And they are talking about Watson's upcoming departure. He doesn't want her to go, and neither do I.

"Scandal" was back last night, so this show waits until tonight.
Amazing! It ended sort of like "Elementary" might have. They are trying to do what Mrs. Wilson did nearly a hundred years ago. The President had yet to wake up when the First Lady forged his signature. In a development that would have made Sherlock proud, the First Lady is not left-handed like her husband, so that was not his signature! Oh, sure it was. He just woke up. Actually, it was too neat a signature for that.
Meanwhile, they caught the woman who did it, but the brains behind her have yet to be arrested. And after torturing the man who was framed, they had to let him go because only he could find the guilty party. They really do need Sherlock on the case.

I like the character of Watson, I just don't care for the actress portraying the part. That said, I like the show immensely. Johnny Lee Miller is excellent and Aiden Quinn is an old fave of mine. So, how do you like them apples?

I really enjoyed the last episode. Moriarty? I like creepy Sherlock. Lucy Liu didn't bother me as much this time, either, so win-win.

Are you talking about Scandal here Kyle? Yeah. And now that I've explained why I had to wait, I think last week's will be the episode that gets this show an Emmy nomination. Sherlock actually had emotions. Watson said he was "chipper"--he never has been. He never similes! I thought "M" would be Moriarty, but he's just working for him. I'm not familiar with the Sherlock character but I know about Moriarty. But that man was excellent!

I'm still kind of surprised Holmes let him get away with only a small wound. After all, even though he claims to be an assassin paid by an unknown contact, why would he kill (in such an awful manner) a 12-year old child? I remember Holmes saying early in the episode that his oldest victim was 88 and the youngest, 12. What assassin would so cruelly murder a 12-year old? For that alone, he deserved to be killed.

According to the newspaper TV listings, last night's episode was a rerun. Unless another small plane has crashed.
This is a relief as "Scandal" had the President attempting to convince people he really was all right even though he was always this close to passing out or falling.
Plus they had flashbacks to his election. Lots of scandal!

My TiVo didn't even tape it.
As I look at my favorite shows list, I can't believe "Body of Proof" isn't higher. I really like Megan.
I think my enjoyment of this show comes mainly from it being the only murder mystery, but when "Body of Proof" comes back that could change. After all, that one's more of a comedy.

Maybe you only have your TiVo set for new shows not reruns.

Maybe you only have your TiVo set for new shows not reruns. It did tape last night. But I could tell it was a rerun. Even "Scandal" was a rerun. See the Gilmore Girls board for more on that.

Ok, so now she's becoming Holme's partner. Things are looking interesting. Had to chuckle when the captain introduced them as his consultants, "Holmes and Watson." I think Arthur Doyle might have enjoyed this iteration of his characters.

I haven't seen the show in ages. It was too late to watch after the Super Bowl, thought I stayed up that late last night to watch The Oscars. Although I was in a nursing home on Super Bowl Sunday. No one would have minded, though.
The other nights I watched "Scandal" but didn't have a way to tape.
And as for this week, when family members cleaned up and got my house ready for me to come back home, they managed to unplug the TiVo so it didn't record.
