Because I chose to tape this. I didn't choose to tape the others. Since TiVo will record two shows at once, I could have. I mentioned it because it kept me from watching this show immediately.

I saw Saturday's episode before, so I didn't watch it. Tonight I will watch Thursday's. I was watching a movie Thursday night which wasn't that good but I wanted to finish it.

I watched the episode about the rich men with dementia who were being poisoned, and the weird dry cleaner.
Had my cousins who cleaned up my house before I came home not unplugged my TiVo I could have seen this one that first night.
The same was true of "Big Bang Theory".

Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man) has been cast in the recurring role of Sherlock Holmes’ older brother, Mycroft Holmes, in the upcoming second season of CBS’ drama series Elementary. He will make his debut in the season premiere, which will be shot on location in London. In the episode, Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) is called to London to revisit an old case, where he is forced to face his older brother, Mycroft. Although the siblings suffered a drastic falling-out a few years earlier, Mycroft allows Sherlock and Joan (Lucy Liu) to stay in his new home, 221B Baker Street. With Joan in the middle, the brothers are forced to confront their very complicated history.

I haven't seen any information regarding the number of episodes in the next season. I can only hope it's MANY! Such fun, well written and imaginative show!

The story line with the brother sounds interesting.
I only have one episode left and that's the one which aired after the Super Bowl. And I wouldn't have stayed up that late even at home.
They keep showing the same funny commercial over and over. I wish the show was as funny as the commercial.

There's only one episode left I haven't seen, the one that aired after the Super Bowl. When I see that is up to CBS.
Last night's I had seen. He admitted being a tattoo artist who worked on himself and refused to recognize one year clean.

It's up to CBS. They have for some reason not chosen to repeat the episode "The Deductionist". It doesn't matter that a lot of people watched it that late. I didn't. It was too late for me.

CBS should air it.
Last night I had seen the episode. I was sure of this when Holmes said his brain didn't need to be filled with trivia. A brain can only hold so much.
I know Kelly Bundy on "Married .. with Children" had this problem.
But obviously Carrie Wells on "Unforgettable" does not.

Now that my usual shows are on break, I can watch repeats of Elementary. I saw a 2012 episode yesterday where he has just started being supervised by Watson. It was very good.

As for Kelly, they once showed on the TV screen her learning something new and something else exiting her brain.

Episode was about someone killing executives of a company. Sherlock was affected by seeing and smelling cocaine when he found a victim.
Sherlock was rather amusing when he told the Board of Directors he would charge them his regular fee times 12. When that raised some eyebrows, he proved his skill by telling secrets about several board members. They agreed to the fee.

Are you tell me or Kyle Anti? Thanks for asking. I do not talk exclusively to one person in a discussion thread. Jeff, you may always assume I am either talking to you or including you because you are friendly and fun to chat with.

Why does Kyle talk about diff shows other than the one the thread is about?

I liked Sherlock's shirt last night. I had seen the episode so I didn't watch.
I talk about other shows because I get started talking about why I had not watched yet or something that happened on an episode I did watch and don't want to start a whole new thread for the related subject.

“Lesser Evils” first aired November 1, 2012
Sherlock determined there was an Angel of Mercy killing people in a hospital.
Posted by KyleEl on Yesterday at 5:11pm I agree Sherlock is wearing a nice shirt in the episode. I think the color red alternating through the stripes in the shirt made it stand out.
I like the way Watson’s background as a medical doctor was very helpful in giving Sherlock information he needed to solve the case.
The reason Watson stopped practicing medicine is reasonable and understandable. Based on the way she deleted all of the photos of her friends from the hospital, I do not think she plans to practice medicine again.
Favorite exchange:
Watson: Any luck? Sherlock: Luck is an offensive abhorrent concept. The idea that there is a force in the universe that is tilting events in your favor or against it is ridiculous. Idiots rely on luck. Watson: So that would be a “no”.

I am really looking forward to season 2. Season ! was great. I even ended up liking Lucy Liu as Watson. And Johhny Miller as Sherlock is just great. I hope they use Aidan Quinn more next season. I like his interactions with Miller. And I love his voice!

I like his interactions with Miller. And I love his voice! I like the way the characters interact with each other. Although Holmes has strange mannerisms, I do not find him to be at all annoying. Aidan Quinn shows professionalism and tolerance for Holmes' quirks and that works for me. Posted by Jeff96 on Yesterday at 11:34pm Rhys Ifans is joining the cast of CBS' contemporary Sherlock Holmes series "Elementary" in the recurring role of Sherlock's famed brother, Mycroft Holmes. Ifans will make his debut in the show's Season 2 premiere, airing Sept. 26, and filmed on location in London. According to a CBS release, the episode follows Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) as he's called to London to revisit an old case and comes face-to-face with older brother, Mycroft. The estranged siblings are forced to work through their relationship while Sherlock and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) are guests in Mycroft's home at 221B Baker Street. "I could not be more excited to have Rhys coming aboard," "Elementary" creator Robert Doherty said in a statement. "I've always been a tremendous fan and feel very honored to have him in the fold. Equally excited are Jonny and Lucy, both of whom have worked with Rhys in feature films. I think this is going to be a lot of fun for all of us." Ifans' credits include "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Notting Hill." He co-starred with Miller in 2000's gangster film "Love, Honour and Obey" and opposite Liu in 2002 ensemble drama "Hotel."
