"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" seems most likely to be my favorite new show.
"Hostages" appears likely to be a close second.
Michael J. Fox's show should be good. Anything he is in is good.
"Dads" has Martin Mull.
I'll also give "We Are Men" a try because of Tony Shalhoub.
"We're the Millers" is also a possibility because of Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges.
Anything else, regardless of how tempting, has to go because I just don't have time and my TiVo can only record two shows at once. I can no longer depend on my VCR.

I meant this to be a new shows thread. Oh, well.
I forgot "Sleepy Hollow". Because of the time travel gimmick (they think he's strange) and because the pilot was filmed in a town I have visited many times, I will watch.
Also, "Ironside". I didn't watch many episodes of the original but I did like the theme song.

I forgot about "The Crazy Ones" until I saw what had been done with the old "Ringer" board.

I meant this to be a new shows thread. Oh, well. I added Elementary because I did not watch it during the fall season. I will remove it though. I think the other shows are new.

When was the 1st show of Ironside? "Ironside" is scheduled to premiere Oct. 2 on NBC. Apparently Ironside spent a lot of time in the sun. He is being played by Blair Underwood.

This show has been a series before. I was wanting to know when? Wikipedia has everything! 1967-1975. And I forgot one other series--the spinoff of "Once Upon a Time".

I forgot another one. "The Goldbergs".
TiVo's ads have really gotten a response from me. There are frequently ads on some of the screens, particularly the main menu. Pausing and reaching the end of a show or going back to the main menu close to the end of a show will cause them to show up too.
And ads for three of the shows I listed came up, all on Fox. I clicked where it said to go to add a season pass, though all that did was send me to the pilot episode--where I could get a season pass.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" seems most likely to be my favorite new show. Starts tonight. I am going to set it to record now before I forget.

Brooklyn Nine Nine was good. My favorite characters so far are the new C.O. and the scary female detective.
Did anyone else watch?

I never watched Brooklyn Nine Nine. It premiered last night. It is a comedy about the Police 99th precinct.

Brooklyn Nine Nine was good. My favorite characters so far are the new C.O. and the scary female detective. Did anyone else watch? It wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. I like the main guy, who looks like but isn't one of the semi-regulars from the old "Whose Line Is It Anyway" on ABC. I like Andre Braugher and I like Terry Crews but wonder why he isn't on "Are We There Yet", or if that show is stiull on but he's doing both. That show is in reruns which would imply it has had four seasons, though it really doesn't matter. I may have seen all of them or if I didn't, I missed one because I let it get deleted. I was relieved after not being able to find it in the listings that it is still on but at a new time. I had to look under the show's Season Pass on my TiVo to see when it was on. I know Terry Crews also from "Everybody Hates Chris". He was a stricter father there, more like Andre Braugher's character here. Here, Terry Crews is kind of a loser. That's three distinct characters I've seen him play in TV series. I like the female partner, and I liked some of the people they interviewed, particularly the one who was on "Saturday Night Live", which I've been watching ever since they put reruns on Saturday during prime time. Some of the others make me think of "The Office", which I've never seen an entire episode of, but I just don't care for them.

I also saw "Dads". At least I got through the pilot. One show last year was so bad I didn't even do that much.
I'm hoping for quick cancellation. Martin Mull is all I like and I cna't stand anything else, though I did like that Chinese girl who is normally so smart but had to act like a little girl for the presentation. I hated to see Martin Mull mess that up but he was the best thing about the episode. Really, the only good thing.
