I don't see a thread created for this show yet. Such slackers. ![]() This is the spin-off show from the Vampire Diaries that is coming to the CW. It focuses on Claus (A vampire-werewolf hybrid) his brother Elijah and sister Rebekah who were the original vampires. After discovering that his former flame Haley is back in New Orleans and is expecting his child, Claus decides to stay and take back control from his former friend and nemesis Marcel. I saw the first episode but haven't seen the second yet.
The premiere was ok. I didn't really learn much else that i didn't already see on the Vampire Diaries so i was hoping for more. It was pretty much a recap of everything that was already shown which i guess if you didn't see it originally was needed but for me it wasn't. I'm hoping for more on the 2nd episode.
Did anyone else check it out?

There's no way I'm watching this, but while watching a movie on the CW station, I saw several commercials with "When the Saints Go Marching In". Now THAT'S music! Something you rarely hear on CW shows.

I watched some of it where one vampire was looking for his brother. It seemed too violent for me though.

So far, i think it's ok but i miss Elijah. They are hinting more of him in upcoming episodes so i really hope that's the case.
AA, the show can be pretty violent and dark but it's more of a grown up show than the Vampire Diaries is. I plan to keep watching it.

I might give this another viewing.
I am watching the new Dracula series. They kill people, but they do not show graphic violence.

I watched the entire series and cried when it ended. It has become my favorite CW series.
