My ABC affiliate had a news special. However, TiVo recorded it. It's a good thing I recorded the previous show, which shouldn't have been on. The special was an hour, but my listings said a half hour. I decided they might air the other show a half hour early. It turns out they started this episode a few minutes early.
I taped the next half hour as well, and it was "The Neighbors".
Yes, I was spanked as a child. It was normal then.

It was Friday, and my TiVo didn't tape it. I looked at the listings to see why, and it was a stupid Carolina Panthers special. Now "The Neighbors" did get taped when it finally was on and I was lucky that happened because if it had been on at the same time as I was taping two other shows at once, I would have lost it. That may have happened with "Last Man Standing".

I was watching "Modern Family" and pleased to see that Mandy would be putting on a hot dress to help her grades in college--until I realized that was the premiere and that meant I was watching a week-old episode!

I was seeing a commercial for an upcoming episode, only I taped what I was watching so long ago the episode had already aired and it was the one I missed.
I think I have ADHD. Once I found out Mandy might have it, I agreed with the idea that she should take the pills, but only if they were properly prescribed. They seemed to have a positive effect on her.
On the other hand, Mike was probably right about Boyd. If you work hard on getting kids to behave, they don't need drugs.

I saw the ADHD episode and Boyd being prescribed that medicine when he may not have even needed it in the first place did not surprise me.

We have a controversy near where I live that is similar to this one. A lot of people think the governor of North Carolina who has a school named for him was a segregationist. Well, so were a lot of people at the time. I think it would be a shame to change the name. Some people want to name the school after a black person.
As for Boyd's school, William Clark was a great man. Lots of people owned slaves.
I'm so glad Mandy has a skill.

Poor Kyle. That bird looked so pretty but it wasn't going to last in the rain. Soap sculptures are a real thing but there must be a way to preserve them.
That was great seeing Mike complain about Valentine's Day, and then he goes and gets Vanessa fowers as a surprise, something only he could do.
I liked Vanessa's hair.
I'm not sure what to think about Eve's attempts to get a boyfriend.
