One thing that I was happy to see be addressed is what was done with Boyd because of how filled up his original school was getting. I don't mean to sound prejudice when I say this, but while it is good to welcome people of other countries, cultures, etc., sadly there is only so much room for everyone who is here. They missed a golden opportunity. Conservatives (Mike is one) like to point out that FDR did not end the Depression. World War II did.
I didn't like the Duck Dynasty guys and hope they don't come back.
I don't see diversity as a priority. I like to be around others like me. If some are different, then I just try to accept them. If I can.

This past week's episode may have been the best yet.
Eve shouldn't abuse a pickup truck that is more than 50 years old. It's a great looking truck but it needs the type of care that Vanessa would expect.
I'm surprised Mike can do such major repairs, but then Tim Taylor rebuilt an entire car. He probably has a better-paying job at the store than he would if he fixed cars for a living.

She cares so much about her appearance so I don't understand why she would choose those. I like Mike's relationship with his black neighbor. It's almost like having Archie Bunker back on TV. I realized something for the first time this week. Tim Allen and Fred Armisen of "SNL" look alike. That could explain why I like Fred so much. Well, that and his talent. And now he's not on any more, just months after I finally became a regualr viewer. |
