Well, I'll have to record this but can watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since it's on at the reasonable hour of 8 pm.

I enjoyed it very much. The introduction included Fusco and Carter. It should have included the dog too. I enjoyed the horse and buggy scene with Shaw and Fusco. He seems to be always getting caught in the middle of something. I don't know why the machine wasted time saving that scumbag though. John pulled an excellent move when he stole the car the Marines were going to steal. I do not feel one way or another about Shaw, but Reese likes her. I give her points for sitting on the steps and eating a steak from the fork. I guess Reese did not feel like taking her to a restaurant. Toss up for funniest line when everyone congregated for the diamond/money exchange. Reese: 40 cents on a dollar? Shaw: Reese, no offense, but if this vigilante thing doesn't work out, I'm not really seeing a future for you in conflict resolution. Who is the dude who strolled in and took the diamonds and the money? Is he the guy who was with the mob boss Carter was talking to? I was waiting during the entire episode for Root to kill the psychiatrist . I wondered if she would use a pencil that was on the desk. That happened in Firefly. The machine is still giving the government numbers, but I wonder if Root is still somehow connected to it.

BUt...
...the Machine...
...seems to be "playing the long game"... like in chess...
...do things now...for a benefit later.
WE do not always get to see the benefit...but...
...a person like Elias...
...brutal gang boss...saved him...amd he has come in handy and useful more than once.John pulled an excellent move when he stole the car the Marines were going to steal. I TOTALLY called that! I said...he will replce the driver and simply drive off with the sailor in the trunk!I do not feel one way or another about Shaw, She is MUCH nicer to loom at than Reese...AND she has deadly skills...a good sense of hummor...Did I mention she was nice to look at? but Reese likes her. *smiles* Me too!I give her points for sitting on the steps and eating a steak from the fork. I guess Reese did not feel like taking her to a restaurant. Pressed for time, I would imagine.Toss up for funniest line when everyone congregated for the diamond/money exchange. Reese: 40 cents on a dollar? Shaw: Reese, no offense, but if this vigilante thing doesn't work out, I'm not really seeing a future for you in conflict resolution. *laughs* See? Shaw is FUNNY!!!!Who is the dude who strolled in and took the diamonds and the money? Is he the guy who was with the mob boss Carter was talking to? Yes! He was the guy with Elias...who thanked Carter for helping his boss! Elias got rid of a potential enemy...got the diamonds and the money...and he didn't have to do a thing.
IMpressive.I was waiting during the entire episode for Root to kill the psychiatrist . I wondered if she would use a pencil that was on the desk. That happened in Firefly. Which IS more effective than giving him...say...a paper cut and waiting for the infection to kill him.The machine is still giving the government numbers, but I wonder if Root is still somehow connected to it. Last episode last year showed the machine calling Root on a payphone at a hospital.

There have been similar instances like the con man or scammer who then helped them scam the casino operators.John pulled an excellent move when he stole the car the Marines were going to steal. I can vaguely recall the hospital phone call scene. When we first met Root, I liked her and I thought she would become one of the good guys. Now, it seems she is travelling too far down a dark path to become one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed the whole episode and AA and darwin have put all out nicely. That psychiatrist doesn't have long to live, IMO.

I agree. One more episode and that psychiatrist can kiss his *** goodbye. O/T Reese is in a movie that is coming out on October 18. ESCAPE PLAN

Adding to many characters hurt the show.
