I was a little disappointed that the explanation for Agent Coulson's miraculous appearance was that he never died and had been in Tahiti.
Then the doc said "Tahiti...he doesn't know..." and I knew there really is a secret that we need to learn eventually.
I was stunned when the man was shot in the head and I wondered why the team looked so pleased with themselves. Then it registered that they had created an antidote.
I am not sure if the other group was trying to kill the guy or if they sent the world's worst sniper.
Now that the team has been assembled, I am excited to see what type of super heroes they will encounter.
Lola is sweet!

Excited to see the action off the top...everybody after that piece of alien technology left behind after the battle of New York...great tie in with the Marvel movies!
As well as Agent Hill...she was in this epsiode more than I anticipated she would be.
Astounding Angel...you are right...there seems to be much mystery concerning Agent Coulsen's apparent death than even he is aware of...and Agent Hill replying to the Doc's statement "Tahiti...he doesn't know"...by saying..."And he never can."
I loved evrything about this episode...the gathering of the team...including the hacker...where Coulsen gave his agent the truth syrum in order to gain her trust...and he was funny under the influence.
And his determination NOT to kill the man about to explode. "DON'T EVER TELL ME THERE IS NO WAY!"
And they get to travel in this series! They mentioned that in one of the articles I read! So that WAS Paris off the top!
I like their "bus"...
...and I love "Lola"...

Enjoyed the first episode and will not go through repeating everything AA and darwin said......most likely much better than I would.
I will only say the mystery surrounding Agent Coulson and his "death"(?) will make for some interesting storytelling as the season continues.
Will watch again next week.

I like the way you say things and your take on things and the way things strike you as interesting and humorous...
...and the things that strike you as odd...
...all of these make me think more...and increase my enjoyment of the episodes you comment on!

I have one gripe about the show. Following the episode, the voice over told us to make sure to not miss the final moments of each episode. That confirmed my suspicion that they intentionally ran the episode one minute past the hour to throw off the timing on recordings. That is a jerk move. I am going to see if I can stop the recordings on the hour. Then I will rely on you(pl) to tell me what happened in the final minute.  |

started to watch this series tonight off a site that gives you episodes for free to watch so far it is good.
