When I tried watching the series when it first aired, I did not understand what it was about.
I am watching it now and the episodes are cracking me up. The interactions between Walter White and his former student Jesse (who flunked science) is actually hilarious.

Walter just made his first kill and he is crying and repeating that he is sorry. Boy...does he change later on.

When Jesse is not cooking meth, he seems like a sweet boy with good upbringing. Setting the dinner table without being asked and chatting with his little brother.
He turned out to be one of the favorite characters on the show.

I have made it to season 2. They are dealing with some violent people and there are is a lot of drama in the family also.
I am still enjoying it, but I would need to watch all night to watch enough episodes before the finale.

Favorite line of the day...
Jesse Pinkman to Walt regarding Saul: When you want the best defense, you don't want a criminal lawyer...you want a "criminal" lawyer.
I like that.

I have watched all of the episodes.
Breaking Bad is a series I gave up on after watching the first three episodes. I did not harsh on the series but I was disturbed that the series focused on a teacher and a former student making meth.
For five years, I kept hearing about how great the show was and that it kept winning awards. I needed to see for myself what was so great about it.
The acting is superb and the drama is mesmerizing. Walter White made a great anti-hero. Jesse, his former student, is my favorite character. I was rooting for him all the way.
From Friday to Sunday, my grandson watched it with me because he became interested.
