Looks like we will deal with the Abbie and Jenny relationship sooner than I anticipated. Should be good.

5 minutes into the episode and I am already screaming. I hope the neighbors are used to it.

I enjoyed the entire episode.
The opening scenes were really good. It took a couple of minutes for me to realize she was dreaming.
It is always scary when a person’s eyes become either completely white or completely black. When the doctor’s eye burst and sand ran out, it freaked me out. I give the yuk factor a high rating on that one.
I am glad they are continuing with the humor.
I had to laugh when Abby said “Seven years of tribulation…how long have we been doing this so far?” They have a long hard road ahead of them.
Jenny: What do your friends call you… Ichy?
Scorpions? Uh…no thanks.
I like the way Orlando Jones plays the Captain. He has given Abby free rein without coming across as incompetent which happens in a lot of shows. I liked his response when they wanted to give him detailed information.
Captain: Is it over? Good. That is all I need to hear.
Hey…where is the headless one?
I was a little disappointed that we did not see Abby and her sister interact. Maybe next week.
My trivial observations: Has anyone else noticed how very gracefully "tall, dark and British" walks?
Jenny has some outstanding eyebrows.
The Camry commercial was fun to watch. I would love to join them on that test drive.

I enjoyed the entire episode. The opening scenes were really good. It took a couple of minutes for me to realize she was dreaming. It took me until the Captain said that Ichabod was interrogating the suspect. Even though the Captain has some grudging respect for Ichabod, he would not let him take the lead, but would only let him support. It is always scary when a person’s eyes become either completely white or completely black. When the doctor’s eye burst and sand ran out, it freaked me out. I give the yuk factor a high rating on that one. *Mental note - Filed under: Things to Avoid so one doesn't freak out ASTOUNDING ANGEL.
Abby seems to be all kinds of stubborn.
She has a dream, freaks her out, then all of the players in her dream gather upon her waking up...INCLUDING the lady doctor from her dream who she has never met...ALONG with the all-white eyes she saw in her dream...AND the lady doctor will ONLY talk to Abby...
...after doing battle previously with the Headless Horseman...
...and seeing the demon as a kid...
...and having the dead sheriff visit her in a vision...
...but Abby is arguing that she is not personally involved as one of the witnesses?I am glad they are continuing with the humor. Me too.I had to laugh when Abby said “Seven years of tribulation…how long have we been doing this so far?” They have a long hard road ahead of them. I found myself hoping the show would last for at least seven years!Jenny: What do your friends call you… Ichy? "Not if they want to remain my friends." *laughs*Scorpions? Uh…no thanks. It was so cool the way Ichabod stepped up and guzzled the green tea. NO hesitation.
"Of course I am going with you." Matter-of-fact...stating what to him was obvious.
I like when his voice got quiet when he asked: "Venom?"
The historical accuracy was good when Ichabod explained that they patterned American government after the manner of the natives sitting in council.I like the way Orlando Jones plays the Captain. He has given Abby free rein without coming across as incompetent which happens in a lot of shows. I liked his response when they wanted to give him detailed information. Captain: Is it over? Good. That is all I need to hear. I think he is glad to have them around to deal with the weird stuff. As soon as the doctor's eyeball burst....he was happy to have Abbie and Ichabod take over.Hey…where is the headless one? Hair salon.I was a little disappointed that we did not see Abby and her sister interact. Maybe next week. I was waiting for that too.My trivial observations:Has anyone else noticed how very gracefully "tall, dark and British" walks? Nope.Jenny has some outstanding eyebrows. I DID notice that. Among other things. The Camry commercial was fun to watch. I would love to join them on that test drive. I will forward your request!

If not for the continued humor I would be gone. I don't care for this supernatural stuff.

If not for the continued humor I would be gone. I don't care for this supernatural stuff. I agree the humor is worth watching for. However, I do believe they will continue with the supernatural stuff even though the headless horseman is missing right now. I am interested in what Abby and her sister will do when they meet.

I think it was on the comics pages that someone's head got cut off and there was a reference to Ichabod Crane. Either that or I saw it on TV. Bart Simpson's head got cut off in the latest Treehouse of Horror. By the end of the episode, so had Lisa's. Both heads were rescued by being sewn onto someone else's body. Whether they mentioned this story I don't remember.

I kind of felt this episode was a bit boring. We didn't really see much action for the first half hour. I'm not saying that every episode has to be full of action, but even my mom agreed it was a bit slow in telling the story. The whole white-eyes thing didn't get to me. I think after years of watching Charmed and now Supernatural it's worn me down a bit. Anti, that would be real interesting if they decide to make the show last 7 years based on that "Seven years of tribulation" idea. In fact, they could use the first 7 seasons to show that, then a final season (or 2 or 3) to tie up the series.

I agree the 7 years of tribulation would be very interesting. I think this particular episode focused on explaining the great divide in the relationship of the two sisters.
I think it was clever in a way because I was subconsciously set to view Abby as the protagonist and her sister as holding a grudge. The episode clearly showed that is not the case.
Also, I understand Miss Jenny's frustration that Abby is viewed as one of the two Witnesses and she is not. But life is not fair, is it?
