This episode was interesting and not too scary.
I really like the way they show one of the Horsemen galloping towards someone because it encourages the right amount of expectation of something horrible happening. But, it is not gruesome.
I am glad no one blamed Ichabod for the plague that Pestilence/Conquest created and the young boy carried. They continue to give interesting twists to historical references. We have seen the same references on other shows like "Supernatural" but they give them a very different spin.
Ichabod and Abby are both clever and good at drawing conclusions. I also enjoy their Captain's philosophy of letting them handle all the weird stuff while he makes it possible for them to pull it off.

I liked the episode. It was nice how they brought in the horseman of Pestilence and the lost colony. It was also nice to see that one cop (i can't remember his name but he was like Abbie's ex or whatever) questioning Ichabod and wondering why he was the one interviewing the little boy as opposed to someone in the precinct. It also had some comedy mixed in which was a good thing.

Comedy is always a good thing on this show.
This was at least interesting. When I heard "Roanoke" I didn't immediately think of The Lost Colony, even though that's a big deal around here. I don't mean that it gets much coverage, but it does get mentioned more than it would wherever Sleepy Hollow is supposed to be.
Those are beautiful woods they went through. I've seen woods sort of like those, but I don't go that far from Myrtle Beach when I go there.
