3.5 Razgovor October 22, 2013
The machine gave them a number that led to a young girl and they were puzzled why she would be a person of interest.
The girl was very smart and had set up surveillance equipment to record illegal transactions in her building.
It was very interesting that Harold assigned Shaw to the case because she does not know how to deal with children. Pure excitement followed. I really enjoy Shaw.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the backstory on Shaw. She is not a sour puss; she has never had emotions since childhood. Wow!
Reese and Officer Carter were also very active against HR and gave powerful performances.

Really good episode. Loved finding out why Shaw is as hard-assed as she is, although, it looks as though she was hard from a very young age. Wonder if she ever smiled?
And Carter............come on.........she rocks! I was so thrilled to see that not only is she managing her demotion, but she wasn't at all fooled by the baby-faced cop that was riding with her. Kind of surprised to see her shoot the bartender, but when she did it with her "partner's" gun.....priceless.
Why is Reese seemingly not in the episodes as much? Was it because Jim Caveziel was making a movie? He just didn't seem to play much of a part this week.
An, uh-oh, Finch's crazy lady is back. That can't be good.

Yes, crazy Root is back. I need to check to see if it was Shaw or the lady who knows everybody that she was standing over at the end.
I also loved Carter's clever ruse with the gun. Her "partner" deserved it.

I wonder if Carter knows that her partner works with HR?

I wonder if Carter knows that her partner works with HR? Excellent question. After Carter shot the bartender with Laskey's gun, she said: "You don't work for HR any more, son. You work for me now." P.S. I researched the title of the episode and the best definition I came up with is "interview". Does anyone else have an idea about the title?

According to the description for tonight's episode, "Root needs Shaw's help with a directive from the machine"
The Machine talks to both Harold and Root. I think it still also talks to the government people. I did not expect that during last season. The machine might feel a kinship with Root because she loves the machine more than she loves people.

You are welcome.
Last night's episode explained what is going on with Root and the machine. Very interesting.

Seems like a psychopath to me.

Yeah, Root is definitely a sociopath and psychopathic, but she understands computers.
