4.03 "Isolated" Poll and Discussion

We were left with a lot of questions after last week's episode. Who's feeding the walkers? Who killed the Tyrees's girl friend and the other guy and burned their bodies? What made Michonne cry?

I guess Darryl was too perfect so they had to make him mess up. Distracted driving is dangerous...especially when there are 20,000 walkers blocking the road.

How the heck will Darryl get them out of that mess? Are those walkers headed to the prison?

Tyreese is certainly pissed off and it seems like more people might die.

I gave it a three.....just because there wasn't a lot happening that was earth shattering............except....

But I seem to have missed how Rick figured it out.

Wow. Losing Sophia and almost getting eaten last season has really changed her. While she still seems like a "mom" she's also determined not to let her group get turned.

I was a little surprised that Darryl just stopped the car and didn't start backing away from the zombie herd until it was too late. That seemed a little weak. It's been more than a year since the zompocolypse.....why aren't these zombies "dying" for lack of food. Especially a herd that size?!?

How did Tyreese get away from the zombie group surrounding him? Did he get away unbitten?

Who will survive in the isolation cells? We can't lose Herschel. I'm not a huge Glenn fan, but his loss would be sad. The little girl that Carol befriended would be no loss.

Interesting to see Beth trying to buck up Maggie. Of course, that's only because she seems to have lost all emotion, even though she seems to care for the "Little Ass-kicker."

I hope Carl sticks around. I think he's turning into an interesting character.

Yep! Carol did it! My money was on her to be the one because, like you said, she is determined not to let the group get turned. I think she was upset near the water containers because she burned them to prevent the disease from spreading, but it spread anyway.

Sheriff Rick measured the bloody handprint on the door and determined it was a female.

No excuse... but I think he was too excited by the radio and the possibility of getting a date with Michonne. They were kinda chummy.

They should check him for bite marks. I thought he was zombie food, for sure.

Glenn was more fun before he fell in love. I will be upset if he dies, but maybe they should break up.

I agree that Carl is an interesting character. He is trying to do what his father wants, but I do not think he has really changed his view that much.

I am giving it a 3 because I did not expect them to extend the virus problem. It looks as if it might kill off most of the occupants before the guys can return with medicine.

I applaud Dr. S for attending the sick, but did he forget that he should cover his mouth when he coughed? He coughed blood all over Herschel's face.

Darryl When Tyrese and Rick were arguing, Darryl was pacing back and forth primed to intercede. As big as Tyrese is, Darryl still had Rick's back.

I think both Tyrese and Rick went off the deep end for awhile when they were fighting. People want Rick to lead again, but he still has a short fuse.

I must have misunderstood Tyreese's and Sasha's relationship last season. I thought they were more than friends.

I do not understood why Carol was so calm outside the fence. Also, she uses a knife with a small blade that requires her to get up close and personal to kill a walker.

Michonne must keep her saber very sharp. She sliced right through a walker's head.

One more thing...soldier boy impressed me when they were in that terrifying situation when they had to jump out of the car. I did not know if he was up to the challenge, but he was the one who stayed behind to urge Tyreese to get out of the car.

I watched "The Talking Dead" and one of the super fans sitting on the couch was Marilyn Manson. He was very different from any of the other guests I have seen. He made so many strange remarks that the Executive Producer declined to comment on any of it. And Chris Hardwick, the host, said it was probably good that he could not understand half of what Manson was saying.

Manson said taking over towns and stuff, they were being like Hitler.

That Carol might have been menstruating when she burned the bodies.

That Carol had become a feminist by burning the bodies because that was like burning your bras.

In response to a viewer’s question asking if it is important to love others during the zombie apocalypse or should survival be the only goal, Manson responded

"that it is like in real life, he always uses “zombie” as a metaphor…

"if you are stuck in a situation, get a pencil and a piece of paper; you can either write a suicide note, stab someone with it or wipe your butt with it; you can do what you want, but you have to take action.***

"what if someone was fornicating your girlfriend? You’re going to want to hurt them…"

That was the first 15 minutes of the hour and he kept going. He was very calm while he was saying all that stuff but everyone else was squirming.
