I saw the movie "Switching Channels" over the weekend. Christopher Reeve was a rich man who seemed perfect in every way until Burt Reynolds, whose ex was marrying him, took advantage of the man's fear of heights and sent him up in a glass elevator to the 17th floor. Chris wasn't very good.

And because of her son, Oscar and his girl have broken up, at least for now.
The first note in "Canadian Sunset" by Hugo Winterhalter makes me think of George Reeves talking off his glasses. If I can find it anywhere, I'll post a link.

Oscar and Felix ran for president of their tenants' association. Oscar won but didn't like the job so he gave it to Felix. Felix insisted on ID cards, and since he is a professional photographer, he took the photos. Oscar insisted on wearing a mask because, as he said as Felix took his photo, "I'm Batman!"

The pastor of my church started with a scripture reading yesterday. Jesus said not to pray in public to be seen, for there will be no reward from the Father. Don't do other deeds to be seen. Instead, do all of this in secret. Greek word kryptos. She said that makes her think of kryptonite! And she asked how many of us knew about Superman.

Their method of teaching science would hold my attention much better than the way I was taught. My science classes focused so much on memorization that it overshadowed the experiments. |

Chris wasn't very good. I saw that movie ages ago, I actually found a VHS copy of it a few years ago which I have now. Haven't watched it all though but I do remember that he was terribly afraid of heights in that movie! |
