Uh oh......Sebastian Monroe has been caught. And by the Patriots no less. Looks like they want him executed. Do the members of our little band feel the same way or will they try to save him? Watch and discuss here!

Gee...so the good doctor feels it is an honor to prepare our boy for execution. I hope the rest of the clan do not feel that way. I am going to be so disappointed if they kill Bass and I love his psychopathic behavior.

AA, I suppose the doctor cannot forgive Bas for torturing his daughter while she was in his custody. That being said, he's such a great character, I hope he is NOT killed off tonight. Plus, he has such a great face. I would miss him, evil as he is.

I am giving this one a 5! Excitement, drama, murder, fights, betrayal, more lies, an execution, man tears, attempted patricide, remorse and so much more. It was so dramatic! I loved it. Rachel and her father have not forgiven Bas for Danny's death or what he did to Rachel. But Rachel is a pragmatist and she did what she feels is necessary for their survival. When Rachel politely asked Charlie to pass the milk, I thought "What?!" and then realized they have not kissed or made up. What are we going to do with those two? I was surprised when Miles revealed he knew about Bas' son. Under the circumstances, I understand Miles' behavior. Even after that revelation, Bas still loved his BFF. He said to Charlie "Take care of your uncle, kid." Then he told Dr. Porter that he was sorry. That was so sad. Should we know the dark haired man who presided over the arrest announcement and Miles said the guy shot him? The scenes with Tom Neville and his son were fantastic. Jason threw both physical and emotional punches at his father.

Really good episode. Lots of angst, anguish and possible death.
Why were Charlie and Rachel being so obvious with their interactions with Grandpa? Too obvious not to see through. Sorry to see they're at such odds with each other.
So Bas and Miles planted evidence to convince the Texas Rangers that the Patriots killed Bobby the ranger that Miles was trying to work with. But Bas was found out? How? Who did it?
Watching Bas being brought into town in the cage was truly a wonder to see. So many cheering his capture and our little group, spread out amongst them looking, shall we say, not that thrilled.
The private trial and quick verdict made the representative of the federal government look really, really bad. Then watching him sit together with the Texas Ranger leader sharing a joke at Bas's execution looked even worse. Looks like Texas and the Patriots are now joined at the hip. That can't be good.
Bas's flashbacks with Miles were so sad. He finds a girl and loses her and his baby. What finally pushed him into becoming the monster that he was?
AA, I, too, was surprised that Miles knew about Bas's baby with their common girlfriend. I wonder where he is and when he'll turn up.
Bas's "final" comments to everyone were so sad. I noticed that Grandpa and Rachel were in charge of executing him. Did you notice that Rachel prepared the syringe? Do you think maybe she put something other than a lethal dose of chemicals in that syringe? Bas sure "died" quickly. And Grandpa just felt the carotid pulse to declare him dead.
So the Rangers buried Bas. And at the end we see Rachel out there digging up the grave. Do you suppose Bas was just put into some kind of death-like trance? I'm hoping that's the case because he's such a great character.
And next week......hey.....we see Bas for one quick second. Does that mean he really is alive or is it just another flashback. Aaron needs to look out for himself. Will we find out more about these fireflies and what sort of powers Aaron possesses?

Darn, I did not realize there was a glimpse of Bas in the previews. Note to self: Look at previews again. I thought of Nora when Rachel prepared the syringe. She might have used a similar drug to put Bas in a death-like state. Is her father in on it or did Rachel keep a secret? I am glad they cleared up the mystery of who turned Bas in. If/when Rachel finds out her father is reporting on them, it will break her heart. There is no longer any question that the Patriots know exactly who each member of Miles group is since the good doctor has revealed so much information. It also answers the question of why they did not arrest Rachel and Charlie. Aaron does need to look out for himself. I wonder how the Patriots learned that he is a danger to them. I bet Rachel is telling her father everything and he is betraying her confidence.

I suspected that too. What was the point of showing the woman having the baby and what happened to the baby? I think both the lady and the baby died. He was happy and thoughtful until his loved ones died. Then he raided a neighboring camp and left no survivors. I think the tragedy was the catalyst that set him on the path to becoming ruthless and bitter. From the beginning of the series, it was indicated that Miles was more ruthless than Bas and I have been waiting for them to show us when Bas changed.
