This was a very interesting episode and I enjoyed the insight into Holmes' thoughts on partnerships. Apparently Capt. Greggson has taught his wife what to do in case of emergency because she handled the break-in very well. Shooting four bullets through the closed door was smart. When the Detective asked Watson to review a case for him, I thought he was using that as an excuse to talk to her. It was so cute when she and Holmes were arguing over the fact that he solved the case instead of letting her try first. The case changed dramatically from how it started out, but it made sense in the end. When Holmes was talking to Greggson about partnership instead of marriage, I had the feeling Sherlock was thinking about Joan and how they make a good team. Then he gave her his cases to solve which was his way of appeasing her.  I really enjoyed watching this.
Jeff, have you seen it yet? I did not want to give a spoiler why the guy broke into Greggson's house. |

I did see "Scandal" where Lisa Kudrow's presidential campaign has wrecked her personal life.

I halfway suspected James Monroe of being the killer. I'm a little surprised Sherlock knew about him, being British, though he does know a lot.
