We all know Dean can be kind of a dog, but now he's exhibiting dog-like behavior? How will he keep dog smell out of Baby? Watch and discuss here.

Please don't make this a stupid episode, I really hope they don't make this a stupid episode, I am tired of seeing the guys made to look or be stupid when they are not.

Maybe they are just showing the funny clips for the promo. We just had a silly episode so I hope they have a real hunt this time.

November....my thoughts, too. I don't really care for the "try too hard to be funny" episodes. A little humor here and there is fine, but these wacko over the episodes (like Penny Pluckwhistle...) are not my cup of Supernatural tea. I hope AA is right, and we just got a shot of humorous parts of the episode.

SoCal, I hope it is not too bad either, but I found out who wrote the episode and my hopes are fading fast. The same people who wrote Mannequin 3, EECK. I did love one part of the Plucky episode, when Dean calls Sam and tells him to go to Plucky's and Sam gets that stricken look on his face and as he talks to Dean you can hear that childlike innocence in both of their voices, it is just so sweet to me, the best part of the whole episode to me. Let's hope tonight is not bad.

This episode may be the worst in 9 seasons. How embarrasing for Jensen and Jared.

This episode may be the worst in 9 seasons. How embarrasing for Jensen and Jared. OMG! Before I saw your rating, I was going to be kind and give it a 3 because I thought it was funny that Dean was acting like a dog, but I do not think it really deserves a 3. There was not one moment when I felt a chill or a thrill that something might happen to the boys. There has to be an element of danger for this show to work. There was one eww moment when the monster ate the cat, fur and all. There is no way Sam does not now realize something is different about him. I think he let it go because he knows Dean is not going to tell him the truth. Otherwise, he would be demanding to know how his neck healed. The blood was still there. I was wrong...this was another comedy. Why are they doing this?

I gave it a 1, only because there were a few decent moments and one good moment at the very end of the episode. I thought the scene with Dean playing "fetch" with Sam was funny and also the pigeon and Dean almost shooting it. I hated all the scenes in the animal shelter, just awful, awful dialog and the animal voices were pathetic, and I could have sworn the Yorkie's voice was DJ Qualls, but I read that it was someone else.
The only good part of the episode (besides it being over with) was at the end when Dean was trying to wake Sam up and he said "Sam?, Zeke?, whoever you are?" and then over the car when they are talking, there is some interesting points made there and they are subtle. Sam saying he doesn't understand why the BG(bad guy) asked him what he was and Dean trying to reassure Sam telling him he is OK, but watch Dean's face as he is talking, it is as if he has realized that having Zeke inside his brother is not going to turn out well, and maybe there is more going on with Zeke than he originally thought. He seems to realize now that maybe Zeke is not who is actually in Sam and he is trying to figure out how to get Zeke out of Sam without it killing Sam. Dean's voice is not the same strong voice either, he sounds weary and a little hurt, and when he says Sammy, his voice quivers a little.
I hope these writers NEVER write another dog themed episode, they have filled that quota move on to something else.

November, the ONLY thing that made me smile was Dean pulling the gun on the pigeon. Otherwise the episode was crap.
I hope this is the last we see of attempts to write a "comedy" show. They should know by now they suck at it.

I hope this is the last we see of attempts to write a "comedy" show. They should know by now they suck at it. Except for Tall Tales, Mystery Spot, Wishful Thinking, Changing Channels, The French Mistake, Clap Your Hands If You Believe...

This episode was on Tuesday night and I re-watched part of it just because there was nothing else I wanted to watch, and I noticed one little thing at the very end of the episode, I believe it is called foreshadowing?
At the end of the episode when Dean and Sam are talking over the car and Sam is worried about what was said to him by the villain, Dean starts talking to Sam trying to explain, and then he hesitates a second and says something to the effect of how the bad part "took over" the villain. And as we all now know, that is exactly what happened with Sam/Zeke/Gadreel. Most of the time I don't see the show giving us many clues in advance, so I missed this when it was on, although I didn't trust Zeke/Sam at all.

November, nice pick-up and I agree that was foreshadowing to what happened with Sam/Gadreel. Your comment made me think about Castiel. Do you think it was foreshadowing when the dude also said "You eat enough predators, you start to become one." I am wondering about that because after Cas absorbed the grace of the murderous angel, he said "I became what they have become...a Barbarian."
