Time for a mountain of a "mole" hill. Is Grandpa a traitor to our intrepid little group? Is Aaron in big trouble? Watch and then discuss here.

This episode held my rapt attention. It was great. I almost jumped out of my skin when I heard the explosion. I think Dr. Porter is correct that the Patriots did that. They needed an excuse to put Willoughby on lockdown.
I enjoyed the flashbacks that showed how Dr. Porter became involved with the Patriots. I was really shocked that he had to participate in the torture even though he never killed anyone. Rachel’s family has been required to perform regrettable actions even when she was not involved. It is difficult to forgive him for spying on our guys and giving the information to the slimy Patriots.
The scenes with Jason and Tom are so exciting. I am never sure what they will end up doing. Apparently Tom’s neurotic training was stronger than the Patriot’s sadistic training because Tom broke their spell for Jason. Jason is a tough guy…he killed the two guys with his hands tied.
Aaron has an awesome power. He says he cannot control it, but it kills only the people who are a threat to him. I got a chuckle from Bas’ admiration – “Aaron, you have got to tell me how you do that.”
Charlie knows something is very wrong when Rachel starts to cry.
Would Rachel sacrifice her father to save the gang from Dr. Horn? I give it 50-50 odds.

Everything you said, AA. Terrific episode. Will Dr. Porter make it past next week's episode? Looks like Aaron is going to lose his girlfriend. She looked positively freaked by his "powers." I dunno, maybe it's just me, but in a post-apocolyptic world, it might be nice to have a main squeeze who could turn any potential bad guy into charcoal. Charlie hugging her mom when Rachel broke down in tears? A great moment. I hope it lasts. That Bas sure is a wonder with a sword even though he's still not fully recovered from the shot Rachel gave him. Next week's episode looks great.

It's improving a little but not making me happy. I guessed right on Bas.

I think you are right and Aaron's girlfriend will probably run away from him at the first opportunity. I wonder if she will wonder if Aaron torched her husband. My advice to Aaron: Deny everything! Bas looked as good as Miles with that sword. Excellent swordsman. It's improving a little but not making me happy. I guessed right on Bas. I thought you might like the arc of the fireflies/nano machines.

I thought you might like the arc of the fireflies/nano machines. Not really. I don't like him setting people on fire.
