Enjoyed the episode. The hypnotist thing seemed a little contrived but fun to watch. So his "girlfriend" was playing him all along. Who'd a thunk that kid with the roadside stand would cheat the hypnotist out of his $4.4 million dollar base ball? Can't figure out why he didn't just sell it himself. and how did he know which baseball to pick out of the bin at the shop?
This HR business has me confused. Not quite sure how it will unravel but Carter is one lucky cop that people around her are dying and she never seems to be found out. And now she seems to know who is heading up the operation.
What is with Finch and Root? What's going on with the machine?

It seems to me that most of the numbers given to Finch by the Machine have been to help shady characters. It seems that the conman's girlfriend got away and so did he.
I think it was strange that they knew the ball was in the bin. The girlfriend must have watched the conman make a deal with the boy and then offered him more money. The kid made $120 from the scam, and he probably decided to help whoever paid him the most. Too complicated.
Reese must really hate those cops the way he took the stool and smashed it against the cop's face.
It makes me a little nervous when Finch stands close to Root. She is crazy dangerous and he does not seem to worry about it. This might seem outlandish but I believe Root expects to integrate with and become "one" with the Machine.
I was happy to see Fusco in action.
I did not expect the rookie to take a bullet but I do not feel sorry for him. Remember the comments he made to Carter in the bar? He was a jerk, maybe not a murderous one, but still a jerk.
I was beginning to wonder if they would EVER find out who the head of HR is. Next week will be painful to watch.
