I loved this episode. Ichabod was wonderful, as he always is. He was dismayed that people pay for water and he was amusing when he slurped his “free” water through a straw to make sure Abbie noticed. I laughed at his expression when Abby informed him his “free” water contained arsenic.

Ichabod was hilarious when he corrected the museum guide’s “facts” regarding Paul Revere. They said “The Regulars are coming”, not “The British are coming” and he pointed out that at that time they were all British.

The Thomas Jefferson revelations were shocking to Ichabod because he thought Jefferson was a loyal spouse. Ichabod is certainly a loyal spouse. He told the Hot Chixxx woman that he is espoused and could not even look at her. When he opened the computer again and she said “I’m still here”, I laughed so hard. He does the straightlaced gentleman so well. When he left a voice message on Abbie’s smart phone, he ended the call in his usual formal manner “I am, respectfully, Ichabod Crane.”

My favorite Ichy line was in response to Abbie saying the book they needed was in London. He responded "That is a 3 months voyage by sea." He slays me.

It was good to see the return of the headless horseman because he always amps up the excitement. That ride through the cemetery was exciting and the ruse with the multiple heads was clever because it slowed the horseman down. The Captain is in deep now and can no longer deny that the Horsemen exist.

I am surprised Brooks has the courage to help Abbie because the demon can probably make him suffer even more than he is now. Brooks seemed to have really shaken up Abbie's ex because he was having trouble coping while reading the articles on the computer.

Abbie said her sister is moving in with her so we will probably see more of her.

I especially liked Ichabod in the museum and trying to use the Internet. I thought he had used it already.

And his voice mail was like a proper letter, the kind Miss Manners and those like her regret has become a lost art.

And his rants about free water. I feel the same way though I pay for flavored water.

Most of the rest of it I didn't care for.

I thought I saw the church in the town near where I live in a commercial, but I didn't see it in the episode.

Brooks was the psychiatrist in the red reality in "Awake"; that show's star was an evil British officer in the American Revolution in "The Patriot".

I doubt there is Spanish moss around Boston. It's something you see in the South, and something I enjoy seeing when I go to the beach, near where this is now being filmed. I noticed Spanish moss last week too.

Abbie's phone number had a South Carolina area code!
