Person of interest This was a very emotional episode. The team put their lives on the line while trying to get the head of HR to the Federal Building. HR’s cops put a bounty on Reese and Carter and gangs and bad cops were looking for them. First, they were on a subway train and gang members jumped Reese and Carter, but Reese put them out of action. Unfortunately, they had to leave the train and travel on foot. The whole time HR kept telling them his men would never let them take him in. Back at the base, Finch was very worried and called Shaw to help them. Fusco shot a couple of cops which helped Reese and Carter get through a roadblock. Then Simmons attacked Fusco and held him captive. I was worried when Simmons’ guys beat and tortured Fusco and demanded that he tell them where Carter hid information on them. Finch had to change the plan and told Shaw to help Fusco instead of Reese. It is a shame that Finch cannot trust Root because she would have been able to help them. Root asked Finch how many men had he lost prior to Reese. Reese and Carter found a good spot to hide and I enjoyed it when they stashed the leader of HR in a cadaver drawer. But it looked like their time was running out when some gang members ratted them out to the bad cops. Reese and Carter had a warm and intimate moment when it seemed they would not survive. I thought, "Oh crap! Somebody's going to die." Finch went into the field to help Carter and Reese because their chances were bleak. They were all heroes – Carter, Finch, Fusco, Reese and Shaw. They made a good team. R.I.P. our fallen hero.

Sorry to see Carter killed off. She was a wonderful character and the actress portraying her is great. Wonder if she got other offers that were too good to pass up?
Reese's sudden confession of ?love? seemed a little out of left field. I wondered where that would go. Guess the ending settles that. I guess Shaw will be his new partner.
I was certain it was Fusco who would be killed off. At least that's how they played it up. I've never really warmed up to his character and his death wouldn't have really affected the team, but Carter's absence will really leave a hole.
I never really caught on to the whole "HR" arc. I guess it was just about a very large portion of the NYPD who were crooked. What all were they into? It seemed like everything!
Glad Finch didn't falled for Root's sniveling offer of help. She's dangerous.

When Reese kissed Carter, the first thought that popped into my mind was that one of them was going to die. But that made no sense to me...until it happened. Carter added a lot to the show. Fusco has grown on me over the seasons. I thought the previews showed Fusco getting shot, but I guess not. I am glad Finch knows he cannot trust Root. Even Bear does not trust her. After what Root did to Harold in the past, I cringe every time he approaches her alone. Perhaps he knows The Machine will not let Root harm him, but she could still hit him with one of the tomes and escape. Of course, Bear would probably take a pound of flesh.

Wonder if it is true, Fake her death to where HR thinks she died when she not.

I forgot to mention that the Machine gave Harold 38 numbers, but all of the numbers were for Reese and his aliases. Wow!
When the phone rang at the end, I wonder if it was a warning for Det. Carter.

The producers did it to shock the fans. If they wanted to shock us, I think they should have eliminated someone else, maybe the boss or one of the sons. That would be a shocker.
