Taraji P. Henson
“Person of Interest" said goodbye to a loved one in last night's episode, "The Crossing." Not long after the episode aired, actress Taraji P. Henson took to Twitter to console fans who were upset that Carter died after accomplishing her takedown of HR.
In addition to retweeting people's upset comments about Carter's death and Henson's run on the show, the actress also shared how much she will also miss her time on "Person of Interest."
But according to Henson, she knew this day was coming for a while. "I always knew that we would have a beginning, a middle and an end. You don't tell the audience 'Hey, she's not gonna last!' because that's the whole surprise element, but that's what's so innovative about the show and that's why I joined. *** To me, Carter was a superhero, just [with] more pantsuits."
Though Carter is very much dead, Henson says she'll leave the door open for a potential flashback appearances. She also thinks that Carter's son Taylor is in a fine position now that his father is a stable part of his life again.
