When the quake bomb exploded in the Glades, the prison was damaged and some of the most dangerous criminals escaped. The police department did not reveal that information to the public. This was an exciting episode that dealt with several plotlines in addition to flashbacks to the island. My first surprise was Moira's trial revealed some private information that she had kept secret for many years. The information shocked her family and should have guaranteed a guilty verdict. Then the criminal who calls himself Count Vertigo switched a flu vaccine with vertigo and made people across the city ill. He had altered the verigo drug and Oliver's cure no longer worked. Diggle and the prosecuting attorney were affected. I admire Felicity's willingness to go into the field even though she knows it is dangerous. Unfortunately, this time she got caught. When Oliver realized the Count had Felicity, he left Thea at the courthouse. He had decided to change and not kill people, but the Count was an exception that was bound to happen. I was very surprised that the verdict for Moira was "not guilty", but we found out why and how at the very end when the biggest surprise of the season was revealed. Very good indeed.
