Sheriff Mills is back!! That make the episode worth tuning into. But dragons? Dragons? Haven't we been through this before with the virgin angle? How do serial non-virgins Dean and Sam fit in here? Watch and comment here!

I enjoyed the episode and I liked seeing Jody again. She will never forget that blind date with Crowley. So...no dragons, but another neglected and resentful goddess. That chastity pledge was supposed to be followed for 30 years, but Dean could barely make it for 30 minutes. I did enjoy Dean's sharing during the purity meeting and the people's reaction to it. Sam and Jody saved the day, but Dean was making a valiant effort to rescue everyone. Ezekiel worried me a little when he spoke so sternly when Dean was going to reveal the truth to Sam. I was surprised that Sam was not suspicious that Dean had done something to him, and it does make sense that Sam would blame himself first. Dean dodged a bullet on that one.

Like AA, I was glad to see Jody survived her date with Crowley and was back to help the boys with a case. I didn't care much for the premise since it seemed derivitive of the last chastity/purity/not a virgin episode with the dragons. It also smacked of the episode with the goddess of truth. What is it with goddesses? And why do each of them touch Sam and say that they don't know "what he is?" However, he telling him that inside he's held together with pins and needles makes me wonder if Ezekial is really healing Sam or just using his meat-suit to hide from the other angels. Do the Enochian etching on Sam's ribcage serve to hide an angel hiding in Sam? I'm starting to wonder. And Zeke's warning to Dean (when he was going to spill the beans to Sam) seemed less concerned with Sam than perhaps more concern about being out of a hiding place to me. And next week's promo almost looks like that's the case. Do we have, yet again, another bad angel? Who the hell is good in heaven? Anyone? Anyone? Hope the mid-season hellatus isn't too long since I'm sure this next episode will leave us with a cliffhanger.

SoCal, I agree with everything you said. I am concerned for Sam too.

So, I gave this a 2, it had good moments in it and it ended up being better than I thought. I was a little concerned at points because it dragged a little in the middle but once they got past that it picked up and I liked the ending. I was so happy to see Jody back, please show don't kill this one off, we need to keep a strong female on the show. Jody can hold her own with the guys and not take any crap and she brings out a different side to them that we don't get to see all the time. I know some people aren't happy with the fact that SPN has recurring guest stars from time to time but I usually enjoy seeing the guys interact with others, I think it would get boring to see the guys "act" the same all the time. It was a so-so case but I really liked how Jody taunted the goddess and was trying to do what she could to distract her. I also laughed at the end when as Jody was leaving the room and the guys made NO attempt to get the door for her, you could hear her say, 'No, that 's OK don't get the door for me or nothing" I have been thinking all along that Zeke was not to be trusted and now I really think that way. He is manipulating Dean into not telling Sam and like SoCal I think he is more worried about himself than he is Sam. I have been thinking about the season and I think that Zeke is using Sam more than he is healing him, and just how long does it take to heal anyway? Zeke took over Sam in 9.01, he killed demons in 9.02, he healed Cas in 9.03 without being asked to, he healed Charlie in 9.04 when Dean begged him to, he healed Sam in 9.05 and then we didn't see him in the last 2 episodes. Now Dean is ready to tell Sam and Zeke warns against it, supposedly because Sam won't make it. There seems to be something about angels and Sam and Cas that Zeke either cares about or he is trying to put something together, I just can't put it together right now.

Yeah...I was pulling for Zeke to be one of the good guys, but hope is fading...
