This episode is a nail biter. I was unsure who would survive and who would die.
There was no redemption for Pan and I will not mourn his disappearance.
There was redemption and a hero's death for Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin and I will surely miss him when they return. He is my favorite character so I know his absence will affect my enjoyment of the series.
Tinker Bell redeemed herself by capturing Pan's shadow. And that led to the resurrection of the Blue Fairy/Mother Superior.
Hook also demonstrated bravery but, in my opinion, he always did.
I enjoyed the way Regina changed and started to use her powers to help others. She redeemed herself by preventing the death of the group and giving Emma and Henry "happy memories". But she said she would have to give up her own life as the price for the spell. I did not "see" her die so I do not know what happened to her.
Midway through the episode, I started to wonder if the show was ending. Everyone was returning to their land of origin and they were eliminating or sending others away.
The final scene relieved me of that concern and I am curious to learn where everyone is and what they remember.

I don't like that the show will change so much. I hope Rumplestiltskin didn't really die but I'm glad they saved the people of the town, if not the town. I really didn't want the town to disappear.
