I watched the last six episodes of NCIS and I really enjoyed them. I was sad that Ziva left, but I think Bishop is a good replacement. She is an analyzer who predicts long-range problems. Gibbs put her on the spot and she was able to shift from long-range problems to solutions that were needed in the moment. This show has maintained its charm, humor, wit and excitement, which is remarkable for a series that is in its 11th season. I like Tony and he seems almost back to normal after the pain of losing Ziva. He has matured but he still maintains his sense of humor. In the " Devil's Triad", I had a good laugh. Gibbs and his team entered a hotel room while investigating a case. On the bed was Gibbs' ex-wife. Then, Fornell walked out of the shower with only a towel wrapped around his waist. They wore Gibbs out.
" Homesick" is the Christmas episode. It was extremely dramatic because the case involved children of military personnel becoming extremely ill. The team worked frantically to determine what the disease was and how the children were coming in contact with it. In addition, they needed a cure. And if that was not stressful enough, Vance's estranged father-in-law showed up unannounced and wanted to interact with the children. The father-in-law had deserted his own little children (Vance's wife) and never re-connected. Vance wanted nothing to do with him, and the man was persistent. This was an excellent episode.

Crescent City (3/25/14)
Scott Bakula played an NCIS Agent based in New Orleans. He and Gibbs know each other from 20 years ago and work well together. Agent Brody requested assignment to the case and I wish I could remember what happened between her and Gibbs. When asked, he said it was classified. Since the murder took place in New Orleans and the case became very complicated, Gibbs and Bishop traveled there to continue the investigation. Ahh...the sights and sounds of New Orleans are very different from their usual D.C.-Baltimore locales. As the four agents stood in a very popular and crowded plaza, they realized the murderer had left clues that would lead them to that location and that he was probably watching them. Then we saw that someone was watching them through a spy-glass and it was ...to be continued

Alleged
New (April 15, 2014)
When a Navy officer turns up dead on a rural road, the team must figure out if he was killed because he knew too much about an attack on a fellow officer.
NCIS continues to be one of the most watched shows and I continue to enjoy every episode. This particular episode had special significance for me.
While investigating the death of the Navy officer, they learned about a rape that a lady officer did not want her shipmates to know about. The Naval Academy is part of my home town and there have been major scandals involving rape and this episode grabbed my attention. All members of Gibbs' team used their skills and special talents to solve the case. For example, Abby's empathy and assurance that the officer could trust Gibbs helped the lady to change her mind and reveal information that led to the capture of the serial rapist.
Even though this was a serious case, there was some humor in which McGee and DiNozzo agreed to do a body cleanse with just liquids and garden salads. That did not go well, especially while others were eating chilli cheese fries.

I watched an episode tonight from this season and I must admit I don't really like Bishop even though Gibbs has offered her a chance to join the team.
