I love them loving Bobby like this. I miss him and maybe down the track we'll get a back episode or even Bobby!spirit or something. JB worked so well with these two.

(I'm still going for 'another!world' Bobby.) But I'm good with them angsting over it like only Sam and Dean can.

oh bobby until we see you again ( and WE WILL). this looks familiar. sam wanting to accept and deal with the loss, while dean goes into denial overdrive. they reacted the same way after john's death. dean is taking that denial and using it to fuel his anger and resolve to gank the leviathans, starting with castrating one particular dick sam is in 'we have to talk and deal with it' mode, which i think is a bit healthier than dean's current state of mind. i'm guessing from that clip, that sam goes off to help the girl while dean goes off and works with frank. somewhere along the line, the girl either calls dean or the two cases collide somehow.

I'm going to stay in my bubble of denial and say I didn't hear what I think I heard. It's a deflection to make us believe something that's not true.
